Is Career Politician Andy Boy's Appeal Eroding?

In some cultures, those around you will be publicly seen moving away from you when it seems as though you're either guilty of something or your personal stock is plummeting. Could this be da new reality in Andy Boy's World?

Could it be that sometimes a person's past comes back to haunt them?

In 2006, he turned his back on his former township attorney (Da Mosked Man) who helped get him elected to his first public office. He would then lead the attack to sue and humiliate da Mosked man by voting to approve a legal malpractice lawsuit against him - a lawsuit that would turn Manalapan, da town he was then mayor of in 2007 into a circus that received worldwide scorn for attempting to destroy da fabric of our society, da First Amendment of da Constitution of da United States. It was a case da town would later be forced to end due to something they seemed to really lack -- evidence.

In 2007, he turned his back on his former running mate, da late Joltin' Joe. He also turned his back on another former running mate in 2007 when running for office again.

In 2007 he publicly sided with once-hated rival Democrat da Queen in what some considered a power-sharing operation. There were rumors of backroom deals between both parties in a system to consolidate power, to da point where some GOP'ers who didn't follow Andy Boy's side were considered "renegades" and "insurgents."

Now, fast forward to 2011.

After maneuvering to become mayor of Manalapan for the second year in a row and 3rd time since 2007, he almost immediately decides that's not good enough and decides to run for Monmouth County Freeloader. He gets into a 4-man primary, only to lose even before da June primary when those who choose da candidates didn't choose him. Less than a month later, da state redistricting plan comes in, and District 12 is broken apart, leaving no State Senator and two new State Assemblymen. So, what does Andy Boy do? He immediately makes it known that he will run for State Senate in District 12 - that is - unless one of da new state assemblymen decides to do so. When one of them does decide to do so, what does Andy Boy do? He decides now to run for state assembly!

So, as da newly-designed District 12 seems to be getting their political act together, Andy Boy apparently does not have a ticket for admission there either.

DaTruthSquad has learned from reliable GOP'er sources that Old Bridge Assemblyman Sam Thompson, now in District 12, wants to run for State Senate and also has da party leaders backing to make that happen. He also has da experience and $$$$$ to make that happen too.

In addition, da extremely informative and highly accurate blog called MoreMonmouthMusings is reporting that Thompson wants to have Monmouth Freeloader Director Rob Clifton be da guy to succeed him as Assemblyman. Clifton also has da name appeal and party support, and that includes da OX who has other ideas for Andy Boy. This means that shoulder they seem to be giving Andy Boy is a cold one, and no matter who his handlers are, they don't have enough juice to push their Andy Boy into position to run for yet another office.

So, let's recap.

In 2004, Andy Boy runs for Manalapan Township Committee.
In 2005, he runs for Monmouth County Freeloader and records da first Republican loss in memory losing by a historic margin.
In 2007, Andy Boy makes a deal with Democrats to become Mayor of Manalapan.
In 2010, in anticipation to running again for office Andy Boy becomes Mayor of Manalapan.
In 2010, Andy Boy runs for Manalapan Township Committee.
In 2011, Andy Boy announces a run for Monmouth County Freeloader, but can't get enough support for a primary run.
In 2011, Andy Boy after losing out on da chance for being Freeloader announces he's going to run for da vacant State Senate seat in District 12.
In 2011, Andy Boy after hearing that a new District 12 Republican who has spent over a decade as an Assemblyman wants to run for State Senate, says he will now run for da state assembly.
In 2011, Andy Boy finds out he may not have da support for that either as da powers that be desire a different candidate
.

To some, it might have been just a little easier to list da elected offices that Andy Boy hasn't officially run for yet...

Governor of New Jersey?
President of the United States?
Pope?

It is safe to say that being ruler of Syria or Libya or China are offices that he may not have thought about, but it's important to note that they are also not elected offices either.

To be fair, Andy Boy has da right to run for any office and we'd never stop him from pursuing any elected office - even becoming da Pope if he so chose. But how many political offices can he consider running for in just one year, and at what point does this become a distraction to being da mayor of Manalapan?

DaTruth is, an argument can be made that all he seems to want to do is run for political office. So far, he's tried to run for two elected offices within 13 months, and in that time also says he wants to run for two other political offices, meaning he's either run for or announced publicly he would run for 4 political offices in just 15 months -- or a mathematical average of 1 political office every 16 weeks!

Now, of course, this can lead to much political humor.

Is Andy Boy's political ego writing checks his political party supporters can't cash?

Is he trying to break some state political record for trying to run for da most offices in one year?

Can Andy Boy just simply run for every political office this year on a line called "Da Lucas Line
?

DaTruth is, and to be fair, Andy Boy has announced that he will now not seek any of da Trenton offices. And, that's good news because now it means that Andy Boy can focus on his primary job, being an elected official in Manalapan, or financial guy with an office in his garage, or a farmer. And, he will also now be called upon to deal with a number of thorny political issues smoking in da corner, including da medical marijuana issue for Route 33 that one must wonder if da NoMegaMall crowd will demand an end for, since those folks definitely didn't want ANY development involving da Village or a food supermarket, you'd have to think they wouldn't want a Pot Stop or a Marijuana Supermarket along pristine Route 33? And, as for da NoMegaMallers, where are they with Marijuana haven heading for Route 33, and will Route 33 be 420 friendly? That's something we'll be watching.

All of a sudden, da thoughts of da Queen running again for political office is like distant smoke on Route 33.

And that's daTruth.

A Side of "Smoked" BaconHead

We have said here that you can't make this stuff up. In this case, it's da combination of Marijuana, a former mayor, a current mayor, another former mayor, a deputy mayor, a "MegaMall," and a zoning issue that all comes together to create an unforgettable BaconHead of da Month!

Remember, "where there's smoke, there's fire."

First comes word that da state has approved six sites statewide that will be medical marijuana centers where people can legally buy ciga-weed for medicinal purposes. Much to everyone's apparent surprise, one of those sites is in Manalapan!

Second, we hear from someone who is none-too-thrilled that he's da deputy mayor of Cannibas-town. What does Manalapan Deputy Mayor Ryan "Big Oops" Green have to say? He gives a "Big Oops" quote to da Asbury Park Press that says "It's shocking to hear that Manalapan has been named as a location for an alternative treatment center to dispense medical marijuana. The residents of Manalapan deserve to have their voices heard on this issue."

OK, so as we can now see, "Big Oops" may or may not be too concerned about folks suffering in severe pain who would benefit from medical marijuana. We're sure in "Green-land" folks like that can just crawl out to their car and travel to Freehold for an asperin. But that's only part of da story.

Then, you have da current Manalapan mayor Land Baron Andy Boy. It seems that da "tokin" location chosen for da dispensing of da legal pot just happens to be down da street from his farm/home/garage business office. Da business location of this medical maryjane office is doubly-interesting. But that too is only part of da story.

Now, you also have a former mayor who, one might think must be as angry as a Tea Party Republican at an Obama 2012 Victory party. It was former Manalapan Mayor James Gray who was a recognized focal point of da folks who formed da "No MegaMall" front who fought to slow down and basically stop da Village from being built on Route 33, which by da way is just down da road from where Cannibas Central is set to be located! Will da "NoMegaMall" forces who allege to not at all like traffic and development on their pristine Route 33 be seen again with Mount Marijuana set to be erected, with people from around da state traveling down pristine Route 33 to "weed" up on supplies? Are they super with being stoned against a supermarket? Are they cool with Cannibas but against a card shop? Will they give a pass to pot but protest a park & ride?

Then, you have a former mayor who gave his blessing for da Manalapan Legal Dream team to go after daTruthSquad to remove our First Amendment rights, and just happens to represent da company that wants to place a cannibas counter in a location on Route 33. Oh, did we tell you that this very same former mayor who has a law office in another town has in da very same building he's in da office of da very same company that wants to set up their pot shop on Route 33 in Manalapan!

Now, ready for da more interesting thing --- da place where they want to set up their ciga-weed station just happens to NOT be properly zoned for it! So, now da Wacky Weeders will have to go before da Manalapan Zoning Board to get approval - and then da Manalapan Township Committee must approve it!

Now, you have to be smoking something to think that (1) this would be a great thing for people suffering from serious illness and pain, and (2) if you do some investigative work you'll find more than one newspaper account of a medical marijuana dispensing facility getting broken into by bad guys. Now, to be fair, da latter is good for defense attorneys. Da former is good for any person in pain. But, da serious question remains - does Manalapan need this - do da citizens want this - and how much is a former Manalapan mayor getting to represent da company located in his office building to get this into da town where he was once mayor?

Sorry, but that's a lot of "high" questions to answer.

DaTruth is, what will unfold in da coming months will be "high times" to be sure. Will Manalapan Mayor Andy Boy who was for it before he was against da MegaMall be for da Weed Emporium or against it? Will da "No MegaMall" forces who were against development on Route 33 be against shopping but for smoking and be against a Village but for Cannibas City? Will da MegaMallers who believed they would have a XXX movie theater on their corner be OK with Marijuana town down their street? Will Republicans stand with Deputy Mayor "Big Oops" or stand with Marijuana? Will Mayor Andy Boy decide that Marijuana ratables are good for Manalapan, but Village shopping ratables is something Manalapan taxpayers need no part of? Will he stop growing corn and start growing Cannibas? What will da Queen do here? Will da Manalapan Zoning Board make da Wacky Weeders smoke their way through hoops like da Village People did? How will da now-Republican-dominated Manalapan Township Committee handle this?

We don't know about you, but this is going to be fun to watch to be sure.

Now, for da BaconHead.

Just when we thought we had a winner, somebody comes along and "Big Oops's" their way out of da weeds and smokes their competition. For coming out with da weedy statement, "It's shocking to hear that Manalapan has been named as a location for an alternative treatment center to dispense medical marijuana" and in effect saying that people in severe pain and agony can crawl out of bed and march down Millhurst Road to Freehold like everyone else with no supermarket at da non-existent Village to grab an asperin in they need one. So, for being against medical marijuana, but apparantly A-OK and having no weedy issues himself with free medical benefits, you get no Cannibas Manalapan Deputy Mayor Ryan "Big Oops" Green, but you do get a BaconHead Award for da Month of March - and this month - that's "Smoked" BaconHead!

And you know you must have been good, because you won this month when your leader Mayor Andy Boy was dissed by da GOP'ers and not allowed to run for County Freeloader, and da Mosked Man not only won his age discrimination case for his client in Manalapan - but did so while leaving his even more prized defamation case against da Queen still on da table, setting up an even bigger potential pay-day for his client and legal fee for himself!

Chalk up yet another VICTORY for da Mosked Man against da Manalapan Legal Dream Team and former mayors (remember "Da Township of Manalapan v Mosked Man" & "Shapiro v Shapiro") who tried to take him down!

And that's daTruth!

You Decide - IS THIS BOTH A COVERUP AND A BACONHEAD????

Websters Dictionary defines "Cover Up" as "a usually concerted effort to keep an illegal or unethical act or situation from being made public."

DaTruthSquad uncovered something extremely disturbing well over a month ago, but since we asked around and couldn't get 100% confirmation we decided to wait until we got that confirmation. That time is now.

It appears back in early January someone was pulled over in Freehold and gave da appearance to da police officer who pulled him over that he could possibly be impaired. Upon further review, this person allegedly did not pass a field sobriety test and was placed in da back of a police car. When he was taken to da Freehold police station, he allegedly refused a breathilyzer test. According to what daTruthSquad was able to find out, da person in question was charged with refusing da breath test, allegedly driving while intoxicated, and at least one other driving offense.

Getting da details was not easy to say da least. Now, if this person was Joe Schmo it would be one thing. When it was da late Joltin Joe, there were some who were demanding jail time. If he was allegedly driving a vehicle that he didn't own, that would be another.

Now, this is where things get interesting.

As more people began to pry into this, it was discovered and verified by da prized Asbury Park Press - and not da Snoozepaper - that da individual in question is not just a Manalapan volunteer firefighter, but da president of a Manalapan Fire Company who allegedly was not supposed to even be using da Fire Department vehicle he was using - and obviously should not have been impaired while driving it as police in Freehold allege.

Da Asbury Park Press wrote a news story that says da person in question is a guy named Sean Sullivan. Now, to be fair, he is innocent until proven guilty and any good and qualified lawyer will tell you just that. However, this isn't just about what could potentially be a bad apple in da bunch. This one goes much deeper than that - and actually has nothing at all to do with da fine men and women who fight fires in Manalapan. It's about oversight at da taxpayer level - or a serious lack thereof - or something even worse than that - a potential Coverup.

ISSUE 1: THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN LAST WEEK - OR LAST MONTH!

According to both da newspaper and also what daTruthSquad had learned, this incident happened on or about January 9 - over 2 1/2 months ago!!! Since this involves da Manalapan Fire Department, this means someone somewhere in Manalapan Town Hall MUST HAVE KNOWN SOMETHING. Who knew - or even worse - who didn't know - or even worse - who wasn't told? These questions deserve answers.

ISSUE 2: OK - SO WHO KNEW?

Here's where da picture not only gets muddy, but even worse, there can be a concern of a possible coverup. For da sake of argument, let's assume this incident indeed happened on January 9 as da newspaper says. It has been alleged that this fire guy was driving a vehicle he should not have been driving at da time. It has been alleged he was caught driving under da influence of something that more than likely should not have been in his system. It was alleged he refused a breath test. It was also alleged da Freehold Police had to impound and tow away a Manalapan Township Fire vehicle. Again, this allegedly happened January 9 - so for da last 75 days - WHO KNEW?

ISSUE 3: WHO SHOULD HAVE KNOWN?

If indeed da events happened as da Asbury Park Press alleges, then there's a number of people who either should have known, or were kept out of da loop. Let's examine who these players are.

If indeed this happened as da Asbury Park Press alleges, and lets use their timeline of events as a baseline, then based solely upon simple courtesy da Manalapan Police Department should have been made aware by their brothers in blue in Freehold of at da very least da vehicle involved. If for argument da Manalapan Police were made aware, did they tell anyone in town government, or at da very least da liason between da police and town government, or at da very least da person who is da go-between between da town and da fire department?

If indeed this happened as da Asbury Park Press alleges, and lets use their timeline of events as a baseline, then why was da mayor of Manalapan not notified since it involves da town's fire department? Was Mayor Andy Boy notified? Did he know about this? Was he too busy campaigning for yet another political office to be located? If he didn't know, who covered up da arrest and kept it from him? If he did know, when did he find out and why was it concealed from da public? Is he too concerned about another campaign for Monmouth County Freeloader?

When did Manalapan District Fire Commissioner Rickie Hogan know? Who did Hoagie tell - or who did he not tell? Did he inform Manalapan Township Committee members and not da mayor? Did he tell Mayor Andy Boy and not other members of da Township Committee? Are DWI arrests not important to da Manalapan Township government officials? Is da impounding of a Manalapan Fire Department vehicle by police in another town unimportant to da Manalapan Township Committee? Who was responsible for getting da Fire Department vehicle released from impound? Who signed for it? How much money if any was paid? Who paid it? Did taxpayers pay for it from Manalapan budgets? Why did we find out over two months later? Where was da Manalapan attorneys on this one? Was Tara Tiara, da town administrator in da loop? If she was not informed, who kept it secret from her? If she did know, did she inform da Township Committee? If she did, then who did she tell and why did they not reveal to taxpayers what had happened?

ISSUE 4: WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN?

Imagine if this impaired driver using a Fire Department vehicle with Manalapan's name on it heaven forbid hit a car full of kids, or worse, caused a fatal accident. Who would be responsible? Could da town and da taxpayers potentially faced a new and quite possibly devastating lawsuit?

ISSUE 5: OVERSIGHT??????

Did anyone in da Manalapan Police Department know? Did Town Administrator Tara Tiara know? Did Mayor Andy Boy know? Did anyone in Andy Boy's political campaign entourage know? Who did Little Ricki Hogan tell, and when did he know? Who got da car out of impound? Did Chief Ryan Perrone know? If da Chief knew, then why did he not tell town officials? If he did tell township officials, who would he have reported to and told? Did any members of da township committee know? Did da new police chief know? Was da new police chief told? Was da police chief kept out of da loop? Was Mayor Andy Boy and/or members of da Manalapan Township Committee kept out of da loop? Did anyone tell anyone of these people to hide or keep secret these events? Was taxpayer money in any way used in this situation? Is anyone in Town Hall capable of answering these questions? Is there a gag order on this topic in Manalapan government? Can we expect an answer or will we be given yet again da party line of "We'll get back to you?"

DaTruth is, if it walks like a coverup, smells like a coverup, acts like a coverup, gives da appearance of a coverup, and tastes like a coverup, it's highly likely it's not veal piccata. Like Grandma Truth says, "Even if da pig is wearing lipstick, it's still a BaconHead." In this case, you had a person driving a Manalapan Fire Department vehicle when they were not supposed to be, according to da new acting president of da Fire Boys & Girls. You have this person arrested for allegedly driving that vehicle he was not supposed to be driving by police in Freehold, according to da newspaper. You have him refusing to give a sample of his breath which is a violation of da law, according to Freehold Police. And, are we led to believe that ABSOLUTELY NOBODY IN MANALAPAN GOVERNMENT even knew what was happening for da last 2 months? Are we also led to believe that ABSOLUTELY NOBODY IN MANALAPAN TOWN HALL even knew what was happening for da last 2 months?

Again, Websters Dictionary defines "Cover Up" as "a usually concerted effort to keep an illegal or unethical act or situation from being made public."

Now, this of course leads us to da coveted BaconHead Award for da month of March, and so you know da word "BaconHead" is not in Websters, meaning that one is all ours, thanks to a certain former newspaper editor who was kind enough to help us create this prized award.

We must admit da editorial staff of daTruthSquad had a tough time with this. Do we give this month's BaconHead to da town for becoming one of da pot distributing capitals of New Jersey, or does da Fire-breathing Fire guy get it?

Well, we can't keep you in suspense much longer.

DaTruth is, da BaconHead has nothing to do with this "hallucenigenic drug," although it easily could have. It does, however, have something to do with another "hallucenigenic drug," something you'll read about in da very next tangeled web we weave in da next daTruthSquad - and you won't believe who's against it - and who's involved - and who da next BaconHead will be because of it!

And that's daTruth.

"Freeloader" Andy Boy Lucas? Can They Do Better?

It's starting to seem like Manalapan Mayor Andy Boy runs for some political office almost every year. In 2004, 2007 and 2010 it was da Manalapan Township Committee. He's already run for Monmouth County Freeloader once - and lost in a historic vote that gave Democrats their first seat on da Freeloader board in memory. He's been Mayor 3 times, including twice in da last two years. And, this is all since 2004 when da late-Joltin Joe Locricchio carried him over da finish line for da Manalapan Township Committee.

Now, Andy Boy's running for office again - this time another try for Freeloader. He's one of four guys who have thrown their hats into da Freeloader pile. Does he have a chance? Can da GOP'ers do better?

If you look at da current candidate landscape - and how Manalapan has changed in his six years of so-called "leadership," than you have some serious questions to answer. So, let's ask a few.....

QUESTION 1 - WHO'S DA COMPETITION?

You have Gary Rich, and we hope he is because he's probably going to have a tough time, but he's a Spring Lake Borough Council guy so he needs more votes and support. You have Bob Walsh from Howell, who we hear has some good support but still needs more. You have da apparent frontrunner, Wall TC guy and former Mayor George Newberry. One reason he's da fontrunner to us - da town attorney for Wall is a guy named Oxley, who shares da very same name as da guy who heads da Monmouth GOP'ers and it appears early he has both da edge, da support, and having da Ox on your town payroll doesn't hurt. Then, you have Andy Boy, whose questions certainly outweigh his accomplishments, whatever they may be.

QUESTION 2 - CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS?

On his Monmouth County Republican candidates page, Andy Boy has this - "During his
tenure he worked hard to restore Republican control to the Township Committee through cutting wasteful spending and restoring fiscal responsibility
." Maybe he forgot that during his time on da Manalapan Township Committee and both times when he helped craft da budget, he helped put together two of da largest back-to-back municipal tax increases in town history - once when he was mayor!

QUESTION 3 - DA LAWYERS SAY - "WHO'S YOUR BUDDY?"

While on da Manalapan Township Committee, he voted to start da lawsuit that may have permanently scarred Manalapan, da Township of Manalapan vs Da Mosked Man, which lasted 25 months and in da end da Manalapan Legal Dream Team had to withdraw for -- having not even a bloody stump to stand on - and a case he's on da record as saying cost "over $100,000!" He voted in favor of morphing da lawsuit to go after daTruthsquad, which then made that case a precedent-setting First Amendment case. He sat by and said nothing during da whole Lord / God / King / Vicar / Commandante Wasser affair. He didn't come out against either discrimination case against revered and former Manalapan Police Chief Stu Brown, and one of those cases still is being billed by lawyers!

OUR FAVORITE - QUESTION 4 - 311 OUT OF 566 TOWNS???

In da year that Andy Boy ran for office in 2004 and before he took office, that very year Money Magazine in 2004 ranked Manalapan #2 - not in da county - not in da state - but DA #2 MOST DESIRABLE PLACE TO LIVE ON DA ENTIRE EAST COAST OF DA UNITED STATES! Then, Andy Boy takes office. Since then, Manalapan has never been anywhere near da top of da Money Magazine list, if its even on there at all (good luck finding it). And, how low can Manalapan go??? In 2010, when Andy Boy was Mayor of Manalapan, New Jersey Monthly Magazine ranked Manalapan 311 among 556 state municipalities! Making matters worse, they based their rankings on "population growth, home values, property taxes, land development, employment, crime rate, school performance, and proximity to services." From 2005 to 2010 - Andy Boy was Mayor twice! Freehold, Howell, Wall, Marlboro all beat Manalapan. Teterboro has 1 airport and only 17 people living in da entire town and they beat Manalapan -- and Lacey Township came in ahead of Manalapan - and da Forked River section of Lacey has a nuclear power plant in it!

DaTruth is, his record of RAISING TAXES far outweighs his flat taxes in town. Da fact with his TAX RAISING record it will be hard to get Tea Party support. His LAWSUIT RECORD in Manalapan is also a question, as is anything that da Queen may have in her purse from their days of being in da mutual admiration society. Andy Boy also led a vote to CENSURE a beloved Republican in Manalapan regarding one of those highly controversial LAWSUIT CASES. It almost seems like Andy Boy's carrying more baggage than a cruise liner. Add to that "E-Mail-Gate" in 2005, turning his back on two running mates (Joltin Joe & Susan Cohen), and even voting to place da current Malapaan GOP Chairman as a chairman of da sewer authority in a patronage job - You have to think he's da dream candidate for da GOP'ers - if you're da Monmouth Democrats!

Now, to be fair, Andy Boy has da right in this great nation we live in to have Freedom of Speech (although he once was a part of a lawsuit voting in favor that tried to take that away from someone or some people) and he has da right to run for any political office he desires, even if its 5 times in 7 years. Nobody should take that away from him. However, you have to be concerned about da baggage he brings into this race, not just da primary by da general election. You have to ask da question - is he da best candidate for da GOP? Does he have da kind of record you want your GOP candidate to have? Can he beat a fiscally conservative Democrat? Can he beat any Democrat?

DaTruth is, we believe da GOP'ers can do better. A guy like George Newberry is a uniter, not a divider and has legit backing and key county support, and it appears a good team already in place. A guy like Gary Rich is well-liked and has a solid Republican record. A guy like Bob Walsh has solid backing. Is Andy Boy really da best da Monmouth GOP has to offer - with an historic county Freeloader loss already under his belt?

These are all interesting questions. As Americans, you can answer them based upon da facts, and we'll see where this primary election for Freeloader takes us. You would have to think there are some GOP'ers who will back him - but there are also some Democrats who would be doing handstands and jumping for joy if he is da GOP'er in da race heading to November.

And that's daTruth.

Three Words - DUMB & DUMBER - And A BaconHead!

If we have learned anything over da years in Manalapan, we have learned that nothing - nothing is shocking anymore when it comes to the super-geniouses who run da Manalapan Township Committee. At da last Manalapan Township Committee meeting, what we saw with a certain "re-vote" to some is much ado about nothing. To others, it's a shocking display of brain cell "A" not getting a good cellphone reception with brain cell "B."

Da Manalapan Township Committee had to have two re-votes on issues they had already approved completely by party lines. Why - you might ask?

Well, in one, a current member of da Manalapan Township Committee had to now recuse himself because he voted in favor of someone who was a relative to be a PAID employee of a township program!

Can this get worse?

Da person who had to recuse himself is Manalapan's Deputy Mayor!

Can it get even worse?

Of course it can! Da Deputy Mayor in question is Ryan "Big Oops" Green. Now, to be fair, it is possible that da name in question was not familiar to him. It is possible this person is some third-cousin four-times removed. Maybe it is a long-lost uncle? It's not like it was his sister or something like that.

Well, there's a reason we gave "Lyin" Ryan da nickname "Big Oops." Da name he missed on da list of paid workers is that of a person named Amy, whose last name just happens to be Green - just like his! Any Green is listed as a "cluster director" for da summer recreation program - paid $22 per hour. She may be da cluster director, but for Big Oops, this was more like a "cluster %$#@."

Also to be fair, Big Oops said at da meeting that da mistake had two blames - he admitted it was his fault, but also admitted he was of all things - - a victim of da Queen's "gotcha" politics! Seems to us he doesn't need any help from da Queen to get "gotcha'd." Let's face facts - if he can't recognize his own last name on a list of names, do you really want this guy overseeing a multi-million dollar budget made up of YOUR TAX DOLLARS????

And still to be fair, while it takes a big man to admit he missed his own last name on a list of names, blaming da Queen for your "gotcha" like blaming your car for running out of gas.

Then, there's da other "Big Oops" moment, but this one didn't come from "Big Oops." In da other "recuse yourself" moment, one member of da Manalapan Township Committee decided to vote in favor of -- and get this lovers of da recession -- to give himself a massive tax break!

Only in Manalapan!

In this "recuse yourself" moment, this Manalapan Township Committeeman voted to reduce taxes on a farm listed on Iron Ore Road by $13,000 (thirteen thousand dollars!). Now, to be fair, one might think there's hundreds of farms on Iron Ore Road in Manalapan - maybe thousands? It's not like da Township Committeeman didn't realize it was his OWN block and lot number address on da list. It's not like he's also da same person who gained da nickname "Land Grab" for trying to get his newly bought land placed on Farmland preservation so he could get over $1 million in taxpayer money for it. And, it's not like he's DA MAYOR!

Yes, only in Manalapan.

Yes, he voted in favor of a resolution that would cancel all 2011 preliminary taxes for farmland as well as other selected properties with reduced assessments in the township. And double YES - HIS WAS ONE OF THEM!!!!

Now, to be fair, at least he didn't blame this on da Queen also. He took responsibility - but did so knowing that he had three fellow Republicans who were watching his back on this one, so unless "Big Oops Ryan" and his cohorts were fully immersed into a block of ice before da vote was taken, there was no way Land Grab Mayor Andy Boy would be denied his $13,000 tax break.

Da Queen called this during da meeting "As the saying goes, you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube." Well my TruthTellers, cavities and gingivitis is alive and well and lurking in da molars of Manalapan Town Hall.

DaTruth is, everybody makes mistakes. However, are we to believe two elected officials - one a sitting mayor and da other a sitting deputy mayor - had absolutely no clue as to what they were voting on? Did they not read the resolutions prior to voting on them? Did the Township Attorney not raise even a single "red flag?" If they truly didn't know what they were voting on, then why are they in these taxpayer-funded paid positions to begin with? How can you not even recognize da property YOU OWN on a list of property owners who - in this recession - will RECEIVE A MASSIVE TAX DECREASEWHILE ALL OTHER TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS MUST PAY HIGHER TAXES??? And how can you not even remember da name of your own SISTER -- whose last name MAKING MATTERS WORSE just happens to be da very same as yours???? It doesn't take da Queen to raise da red flags here -- you guys did a great job raising them yourselves!

So, let's get this straight in case we missed something --- In da middle of a recession, da Republicans in Manalapan led by da deputy mayor vote to hand a $22 per hour job to his own sister - claiming he didn't see his own sister's name on da list - even though her last name and his are EXACTLY da same ---- and da mayor, who stands to reap over $1 million dollars from da state for his own land he just paid for - and now he's VOTING TO GIVE HIMSELF A $13,000 TAX BREAK????

IS THIS REALLY WHAT REPUBLICANS STAND FOR????

If Chris Christie were still in da investigation business, he'd probably have to buy a house in Manalapan just to cut his commute down to investigate all of this.

DaTruth is, in less than two months of his new administration as mayor, you have a mayor giving himself a HUGE $13,000 tax break, and not even knowing his own deputy mayor voted for his own sister for a paid town job! And - to make this even more attractive to Grand Master Vic and his Monmouth Democrats, da very mayor voting to cut his own taxes before recusing himself is also running for Monmouth County Freeloader!!!!!!

You can't even come close to making this stuff up.

Due to all of this, daTruthSquad calls on Land Grab & Cut His Own Taxes Mayor Andy Boy to cancel his proposed campaign for Monmouth County Freeloader. This is an embarassment to da Republican Party, da town of Manalapan, and anyone who pays outrageously high property taxes in New Jersey! It's time you show us you can actually do da right thing.

With this in mind, we have to hand out a February BaconHead Award. If da vote were last week, odds are a certain Manalapan Democratic Municipal Chairman had a great chance of winning, but in Manalapan, BaconHeads can change in a Manalapan minute.

So, without further ado....... For voting his own sister to a paying job in town, then saying he didn't realize his "oversight" before he blamed someone else's "gotcha politics" for his not being able to recognize his own sister's name who just happens to share his OWN last name on a list of names, and being da town's deputy mayor which obviously sets a great example for both da residents and da young people, we have to hand this month's coveted BaconHead Award to none other than Manalapan Deputy Mayor Ryan "Big Oops" Green!

And that's daTruth!

We Told You So - Welcome To Ward Island!

Well over a year ago when we first said there were serious chinks in the armor of da Manalapan Democrats, there were some who said we were "making up lies," and even worse. Hate to say we told you so.

We criticized da leadership. We said there were issues between da Queen and her latest running mate. We told you da Manalapan Democrats were facing da distinct possibility of being shut out of Manalapan government in less than one year. We even said there could be some differences of opinion between some people on da dredded "Hate" chat site involving Lawrence of Manalapan.

Welcome to Ward Island - population --- SHRINKING FAST!!!! Hate to say we told you so.

Here are da issues:

ISSUE 1: FARMER DON PLOWS OVER DA QUEEN!

In three elections, da Queen has had three different running mates. Since losing in 2004, there have only been limited sightings of Running Mate #1 Beth Ward. One was nearly getting into a fight at a Township Committee meeting with another woman during da dredded "Because I Hate Italians" fiasco and the other was last year making serious news during "Land Grab-gate." Running Mate #2 Mr. Anthony Gennaro left da Manalapan Democrats during da "Because I Hate Italians" fiasco because of circumstances surrounding da participants. Now, Running Mate #3 is jumping on his tractor and driving away from da Queen before his term in office is over.

Farmer Don is not going to become an Independent however. He's announced his intentions to not just join da Manalapan Republican party, but he wants to be on da ticket and go up head-to-head against da Queen! Da 2011 Manalapan Township Committee elections haven't even started yet, and now they're turning into da biggest election since 2004!

DaTruth here is - for Farmer Don to take this type of action means he is either spiteful and vindictive, or he seriously believes da Manalapan Democrats are severely out of touch and wants nothing more to do with them and their leadership. Since anyone who even remotely knows Farmer Don knows he isn't spiteful or vindictive, then you have to at da very least surmise that either (A) he was told do something he didn't want to do, (B) he can too easily see da corruption through da trees or (C) he came to da conclusion that da Manalapan Democratic party as it is with its current leadership simply wasn't for him anymore, and da best way to change it is to defeat it.

ISSUE 2: MANALAPAN DEMOCRATS ON ATTACK!

We've said before da Manalapan Democrats were having issues. We've been saying that for years. Eventually da flies catch up to da manure truck, and in this case it took a bunch of years but those flies have reached their nirvana. Where once a united Manalapan Democratic party could do no wrong with a 5-0 supermajority on da Township Committee, it got whittled down to 3-2 thanks to da great politicking of da late Joltin Joe Locricchio, and before you could say "Sue Da Mosked Man" da Republicans took over with a slight majority that just became huge with da defection of Farmer Don, who brought his wife Wanda for da ride.

In da past several years, you had Mr. Anthony Gennaro bolting da Democrats over an issue that came directly from Roth Island, da highly respected and decorated former Manalapan Chief of Police suing not once - but twice over issues that were created on Roth Island, add to that one for Manalapan Rec leader, a decorated symphony conductor, a former Township Administrator, a former Township attorney, da First Amendment lawsuit, and all da hyjinx that has made Manalapan a laughingstock - all coming on or through Roth Island, and you have all da ingredients to make even da most loyal Democrats wave da white flag and defect.

DaTruth is - and this is simple math - too many ill-advised lawsuits they couldn't win + too much waste of taxpayer money + too many good people being under da Manalapan Democratic bus + last year's spectacularly unqualified candidates + da Queen's and "One Bourbon's" Waterloo at da hands of Land Grabber Andy Boy and his handlers = a recipe for disaster.

ISSUE 3: FARMER DON'S "PRESS RELEASE"

All you need to do is read this quote attributed to Farmer Don to know that da once powerful team of Manalapan Democrats can now eat from da same pizza with slices to spare.

"The decisions I make are always based on what’s best for our residents. I don’t believe in the petty bickering or partisan politics that permeates the Manalapan Democratic Party. I want to focus all of my energy on making Manalapan an even better place to live, and the members of the Republican Party share that mindset."

Sentence 1: "The decisions I make are always based on what’s best for our residents." This sentence can be taken two ways - (1) Farmer Don wants to do what is right for da people he was elected to serve, and (2) Da Manalapan Democrats don't give a rat's hind region about what is best for town residents.

Sentence 2: "I don’t believe in the petty bickering or partisan politics that permeates the Manalapan Democratic Party." Unfortunately for "One Bourbon" and da Queen, there is simply no "Gray" area here. In this sentence he specifically points da blame at da party leadership using da words "bickering" and "partisan politics." In effect, he's calling out da leadership and showing that backroom deals and one-upsmanship has destroyed da Manalapan Democrats, and he's spent too much time on da bus and this is his stop.

Sentence 3: "I want to focus all of my energy on making Manalapan an even better place to live, and the members of the Republican Party share that mindset." In another slap in da face of da Queen and Gerry "One Bourbon - One Shot & One Beer" Ward, da respected Farmer Don simply says that he had two choices - work with da people who want what is best for da town or work with da people who care only about themselves. We all see who he picked.

ISSUE 4: DEMOCRATS FLEE WARD ISLAND!

Da defection by Mr. Anthony Gennaro was probably da "first strike" but is miniscule in comparison to Farmer Don's dissing da party. Farmer Don was da shrinking team's white knight. Now that da white knight rode off on da horse he rode in on - and galloped at high speed to da enemy GOP'er party and da Democratic-hated Land Grabbing mayor - it leaves not much at all for da Democrats to hang their hats on.

It seems as if ever since BaconHead Award-winning intrepid reporter Cathy Barratta left da Snoozer, Democratic press release alleged stories haven't been able to get into print as easy. And, ever since Chatty Cathy decided to side with Land Baron Andy Boy on at least one key issue against Lawrence of Manalapan, even her chat room is looking more Republican.

Da massive loss of "Da Township of Manalapan vs Da Mosked Man" lawsuit hurt both da Democrats and da town's credibility. Da First Amendment case some say was da prime reason both da mojo and da credibility was taken from da Manalapan Legal Dream Team and handed da victory to da Mosked Man.

"Because I Hate Italians" was never forgotten, and neither were da cases against Chief Brown that backfired directly on da Manalapan Democrats.

Put all of this together, with questionable leadership from Ward Island, two spectacularly unqualified candidates in last year's election, starting and losing easy-to-lose lawsuits, taking on an opponent in da Mosked Man for all da wrong reasons, heavy-handed tactics against some respected folks on da township payroll, and you can see why Farmer Don put his tractor into overdrive and shifted gears to da Manalapan GOP'ers.

ISSUE 5 - WHAT COMES NEXT?

This one may be too easy to call.

(1) With da Manalapan GOP'ers holding a 4 to Roth majority, da Queen's tenure for da rest of da year will make da way she treated Mr. Anthony Gennaro during his last two years on da committee seem like a catered picnic at Manalapan Rec. Embedded GOP'er sources say da GOP'ers plan for handling da Queen will be to simply ignore her at every turn. No matter what she says or does, ignore her.

(2) With Farmer Don running as a GOP'er, he will be paired with a member from da Yorktowne Club which will again mean victory for da GOP'ers and cement da Yorktowne Club as da political power base for Manalapan.

(3) If she even runs for reelection, look for da Queen to pair herself with a well-known someone from Covered Bridge. She will use da "what has da GOP'ers done for you lately" line to rouse them up, coupled with a few surprises to get their votes which she will need to avoid a landslide loss.

(4) We believe it is very possible there could be da potential for a power play for da leadership of da Manalapan Democrats.

(5) At da end of da day, Manalapan GOP'ers will hold a 5-0 super-majority come January 1, 2012.

(6) Manalapan Mayor Andy Boy will run in a primary for Freeloader this year - and lose.

(7) Oh, and Chris Christie will run for President in 2012.

And that's daTruth.

Big Brother Is Coming To Manalapan?

We've seen more than our fair share of people running red lights along stretches of Route 33. However now you may not get away with it - whether you actually went past the red light or not. That's because Big Brother is coming to a traffic light in Manalapan soon.

In what could be a boon to we da lawyers, Manalapan will soon be adding some of those controversial cameras to the intersections where it is believed many people speed through red lights like there were no lights there at all. To be fair, if anyone breaks da law they should be held accountable, whether they are a politician or not. However, these Big Brother devices could come with a cost.

In other towns and cities where these little boxes debuted there has been some controversy as to their accuracy. A split second could be the difference between traveling through town to do your shopping in Freehold or getting at least a $75 dollar ticket for seeing the light being yellow and thinking you could make it through.

Also in other towns, there have been concerns over da possible number of rear end accidents because people fearing da Kodak Moment that hit their brakes at da last second.

However, here in Manalapan, big brother will soon be calling several a few street corners home as those cameras are being readied to be installed. Da good news is it will create a new revenue stream for da town which we do need, since Manalapan still ranks at da bottom of da list for ratables in da county, despite what we hear to allegedly be a new super electronics store of da PC Richard type and variety and two other big box stores coming soon to an Epicenter near you. Da bad news is that new revenue stream could be coming directly out of your pocket -- if da camera actually works right.

Da next question is - where will they be installed? Will they put one at da traffic light outside Covered Bridge? Will one go at da end of da block where Manalapan's Land Baron lives? Will they go near schools or along Route 9? We'd be curious as to where they go -- and who decides that if it not da police who know best.

DaTruth is, da fine folks at da Manalapan Police department do a fine job of patrolling Manalapan roads. Adding these cameras could potentially be da prelude to getting rid of a few officers in town. And, as we've all seen, taking cops off da streets in Camden and Newark and other towns has not been da best for keeping crime statistics low.

However, daTruthSquad also has good news about Manalapan's men and women in blue.

Thanks to some excellent detective work by da Manalapan Police Department, two boils on da buttocks of da world were arrested after police began dealing with a bunch of break ins at Covered Bridge. Da two young hoodlums that were busted, one of whom is a Manalapan resident are believed to be behind da recent rash of robberies, at least seven of whom may be charged to these young adults who we can only surmise truly make their parents proud. DaTruthSquad has been told by confidential sources that while these two alleged senior stalkers may be collared for as many as seven of da crimes where everything from jewelry to money was taken, many other robberies may have gone unreported and police are still actively working that angle.

DaTruthSquad has been told da un-dynamic duo allegedly posed as Covered Bridge workers to gain access to homes while their victims simply let them through da front door under da guise of doing some maintenance work. Once inside, they helped themselves to da goodies of those senior citizens.

Now, things like this don't just happen in Covered Bridge. Just because someone has a name tag doesn't mean you should let them into da house. If you have any questions, just refuse anyone you have concerns with entry until you know for certain they belong. If you think its a bag guy, call da police.

Kudos to da fine folks at da Manalapan Police Department for working hard and going da extra mile to catch da bad guys. You can credit their hard work to da legacy left behind by former Manalapan Police Chief Stuart Brown, who despite accepting a settlement from Manalapan's Legal Dream Team for da age discrimination lawsuit he filed, is still fighting to get his immaculate and great name and reputation back as he pursues a defamation case against certain members of da Manalapan Politburo - which will of course like many other cases before it be paid for by da great taxpayers of Manalapan.

And, if you're wondering why Land Baron Andy Boy became mayor for a second year, maybe it's because da rumor mill is working overtime about a potential run for County Freeloader? Will Andy Boy run for Freeloader with Little Lil? Will someone on da Manalapan Politburo have something to say about that? Don't be too surprised if an upcoming daTruthSquad has more to say about that.

And that's daTruth.
