DaTruthSquad's Crystal Ball Peeks Into 2011 - And Snow For A BaconHead!

We're at the end of another interesting year of Manalapan and Monmouth County politics. When we look back at 2010, we see President Obama's poll numbers falling, Chris Christie's prospects for higher office rising, a Monmouth County GOP working together, Anna Little working all sides, Manalapan Mayor Andy Boy becoming a Land Baron, Manalapan's Queen knowing exactly what it's like to have done to her what she and others did to da Mosked Man from 2006-2010, Manalapan's da Capo di Tutti Capi putting together maybe da worst-run election race in da last 25 years, but nobody got sued to have their First Amendment rights violated!

So, as we will soon close da chapter that is called 2010 and enter a new chapter in da book of 2011, what will be in store for politics and politicians in our little slice of heaven? To answer that question, we have to go into da garage and take out our patented dusty, rusty, trusty DaTruthSquad Crystal Ball and see what it might see for 2011.

We see - a vision: Mayor "Lyin" Ryan Green will be da next figurehead of da Manalapan Township Committee in 2011, voted mayor by a 4-1 majority. Deputy Mayor will be Jordan "Stu" Moskowitz, also by a 4-1 margin. I think we don't need a crystal ball to know who the "1" will be in those 4-1 margins.

We see - another vision. A soon-to-be former Manalapan mayor will win da lottery! Da grand prize - about $1.4 million in taxpayer money to help him buy a "farm" in Manalapan, meaning he will take over some 90 acres and basically pay nothing. Sorry, Drew Shapiro, but your throne has been abdicated too long so Manalapan now has a new "King."

Here are some other visions:

Da GOP in Monmouth County will have little challenge in 2011 for da seats that will be up for grabs. They will barely break a sweat and win by 17%.

Anna Little will announce that she will run again to take on Frank Pallone for his Congress seat, even though da election is in 2012. Since our DaTruthSquad Crystal Ball is only guaranteed to see 12 months or 12,000 miles into da future, we can't see who wins that one - yet.

Manalapan's election will take a startling turn. Da crystal ball sees Farmer Don Holland will not be running for reelection, and da Queen startles everyone when she announces soon after she wins her primary in June that she is resigning from da Manalapan Township Committee, blaming what da crystal balls claims is partisanship over how da 2011 budget was put together and with parting shots exposes startling revelations about 2 members of da Manalapan Township Committee that da Asbury Park Press find so compelling they will investigate, but da local Snoozepaper will call a "non-starter."

Following da Queen's political maneuver, as DaTruthSquad Crystal Ball sees it, she will instead possibly either plan a run in 2012 for a political office, but as we stated, since our DaTruthSquad Crystal Ball is only guaranteed to see 12 months or 12,000 miles into da future, we can't see which political race that will be - yet.

Following da abdication by da Queen, da Manalapan Democrats will lose again in a landslide, giving da Manalapan GOP a 5-0 supermajority on da Township Committee. One of those two new winners will be from da Yorktowne Club, giving da club even more power on da Township Committee than they ever had.

Now, as we put da world-famous daTruthSquad crystal ball back in it's dusty place in da garage, we take out our also-world-famous BaconHead Award for da month of December.

We ironically end da year on a not-so-surprising note. Word has been released that Manalapan's award-winning police chief has reached a settlement with da town over part of his lawsuit. DaTruthSquad will have an expose on that coming up very soon, because we'll be able to tell you then who stood strong - who caved in like a cheap suit, who was da real winner, who lost, and who really lost. That will be coming soon, and it will be an eye opener!

Now, for da BaconHead:

This one was a tough one, and even da TruthTellers were divided as to who would win this. However, by one thin vote, we have a winner.

There are those who lead, and those who are led, and this winner is both. By following da orders of da capo di Tutti Capi, da Boss of All Bosses, she now finds herself on an island by herself. Her former running mate no longer votes her way - and we're not talking about Mr. Anthony Gennaro. With a GOP'er majority and more in lockstep than they have ever been in years, da Queen may find herself facing da wrath of a unified GOP. Could a "Censure" be far away for her actons in da Chief Brown case?

So, for now being alone in a 5-person room, for being da catalyst in a situation against Chief Stu Brown that tarnished da town and made a winner in a legal battle (AGAIN) for his attorney da Mosked Man, for leading da charge in da original case against da Mosked Man that made him a court room winner (AGAIN) against da town, and because of not just her own actions, but also those of her party leadership she now finds herself low on allies, and her prospects of beating a GOP'er machine even lower leaving her political life one step from being compared to a train wreck, this still does not win da voting for BaconHead!

However, we do have a winner:

For leaving da state of New Jersey as a blizzard of historic proportions is bearing down on his kingdom - and being in all places DisneyWorld - and allowing his Lt. Governor - da job whose it is to be in da state when he can't and we pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayer money for that office holder who ironically heads to sunbathe in Mexico during da Christmas Blizzard of 2010 - and for becoming da new poster child for "Where's Waldo" for spending so much time out of state, da winner of da December 2010 BaconHead of da Month is ----- New Jersey Governor Chris "Where's Waldo" Christie!

Remember - coming up next week we'll have an expose on da Manalapan vs Brown law case that made little headlines but again brought big scorn on a town that loses yet another lawsuit - and we'll tell you HOW and WHY right here!

Happy New Year - And that's daTruth.

Maybe when Christie gets back from Disneyworld he can get someone to plow my street off of Ivanhoe Drive!

Why do we even have a Lt. Gov? She's in mexico while he's in Florida during the biggest problem the state faced this year. Wasn't the Lt. Gov supposed to be in the state when Christie was out of town? Can't blame the Democrats on this one.

So when will we know who the new mayor of Manalapan will be?

From the Asbury Park Press:

"Manalapan, $225,000 toward the purchase of 7.96 acres of hardwood forest that will further preservation along the Manalapan Brook. The property is adjacent to 20 acres of existing municipal open space."

This is wetlands that can't be built on. Why spend taxpayer money to buy this? Taxpayers are spending $28,000 per acre for wetlands to preserve? I would hope that somebody has a very reasonable explaination on this, other than it looks good for certain political candidates.

@"Wasn't the Lt. Gov supposed to be in the state when Christie was out of town?"

If you really wanted to follow what happened you would have found that Kim was responding to a last wish of her terminally ill father. But don't let the details interfere with being a brute.

"If you really wanted to follow what happened you would have found that Kim was responding to a last wish of her terminally ill father."

Sounds like a typical Republican coverup. Did this alleged "terminally ill father" want her to visit Mayan ruins or swim off Cancun as a last wish?

I'm starting to trust Republicans a lot less these days.

Actually it was a 2 week cruise she was on - and her father is terminally ill and he was there too. Check your facts please.

If Guadagno was on a cruise with her terminally ill father I really don't have a problem with that. However, if that was the case then I'm sure she didn't book the trip 24 hours in advance. Either she or Christie should have been in this state. What if the problem was not a blizzard but God forbid an attack of some type. If one is out of state the other should have been here. That's what we taxpayers pay for. if they can't get their act together, then let's save the state money and drop this Lt. Governor position. Christie could have put his plans on hold, or change them because that's his job.

This guy talks about state workers making "sacrifices," but he can't ask his own wife and family to make one? I agree with this blogger - he is both a HYPOCRITE and a BACONHEAD.

Anonymous said...

I read on NJ.com that Christie said his wife would divorce him if he didn't take this trip, or something to that effect. If he has such severe family issues, then maybe he should step down as governor and take care of his family. I'm sure he won't be too concerned about other families when he starts cutting jobs from the budget.

How about you spell Jordan's name right. It's Maskowitz, not Moskowitz.

Must you disparage everyone, all of the time?

You folks sound pretty upset by how a Democrat tried so ineptly to run the state during the storm.

Just say it the way it is....Yorktowne club rules this town!!!!

@"Did this alleged "terminally ill father" want her to visit Mayan ruins or swim off Cancun as a last wish?"

Where did you come up with this? The most that has been reported publicly is that it was a cruise that her father with Stage 4 cancer had set up for his entire family. As of now, it seems your statement is pulled out of thin air and is returning there.

False statements by Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno enabled a police official to improperly receive $170,000 from a state pension fund, according to a New Jersey Watchdog investigation.

As Monmouth County Sheriff, Guadagno helped Chief Michael W. Donovan Jr. circumvent pension rules to collect more than $85,000 a year in retirement pay while drawing an annual salary of $87,500.

Guadagno hired Donovan as “Sheriff’s Chief” in September 2008. In a memo to her staff, the future lieutenant governor announced Donovan was replacing John Cerrato as Chief. Donovan was a retired investigator who had worked for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

As the new Chief, Donovan should have re-enrolled in the Police and Firemen’s Retirement System. Under state law – N.J.S.A. 43:16A-15.3 – retirement benefits should have stopped with his employment.

Instead, Guadagno deceived county officials, the press and the public about Donovan’s job title.

In a news release, Guadagno announced the hiring of Donovan as “Chief Warrant Officer,” a different position that’s exempt from PFRS and its rules. In addition, the Sheriff’s Office informed county payroll officials that Donovan was hired as Chief Warrant Officer.

Those statements were false. The position of Chief Warrant Officer had been eliminated by an order signed by Guadagno on Sept. 16, 2008 – the week before Donovan started.

There is a big difference between the two jobs. The Sheriff’s Chief oversees the day-to-day operation of the Law Enforcement Division, including 115 officer and 30 civilian employees. The Chief Warrant Officer, under the previous organization structure, was a civilian position responsible for “community relations programs.” Sheriff’s Chief is a position covered by PFRS and its rules; a Chief Warrant Officer is not, according to the State Treasury’s official list.

Donovan is identified as Sheriff’s Chief on Monmouth County Sheriff’s official web site. Yet personnel records still list Donovan as Chief Warrant Officer, a job that doesn’t exist on the current organization chart. Meanwhile, Donovan continues to collect a pension along with his salary.

Donovan could be forced to repay the state plan roughly $185,000. That figure includes roughly $170,000 in retirement benefits he’s received since September 2008, plus more than $14,000 for back contributions he should have been paying into the PFRS.

Guadagno’s pivotal role in the Donovan controversy is likely to embarrass Governor Chris Christie as he campaigns for widespread reform of New Jersey’s public pension system. The New Jersey Treasury has estimated the state retirement plans for public employees are underfunded by roughly $45 billion. An independent study earlier this year reported the shortfall could actually be as high as $173 billion.

Christie is also likely to face calls to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Guadagno under the New Jersey State Constitution Article 5, Section IV, Paragraph 5.

Ironically, Guadagno specialized in prosecuting corruption cases as an assistant U.S. attorney. In 2007, she was elected Monmouth County Sheriff. Two years later, she ascended to Lieutenant Governor as Christie’s running mate. She is also New Jersey’s Secretary of State.

Donovan began his career in 1974 as a police dispatcher in Neptune City. In 1982, he was hired as an investigator by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. Three years after retiring in 2005, then-Sheriff Guadagno hired him as Chief.

“Mickey Donovan comes to the Sheriff’s Office with a wealth of experience and I welcome him,” Guadagno said in her 2008 press release. “Mickey will lead our law enforcement unit with new innovative approaches and strategies when in comes to dealing with the law enforcement challenges of the future.”

So instead of a response to the question about Cancun and the Mayan Ruins, we get a two-year-old calumny that the voters clearly rejected in the last election. That means that the line about Cancun and the Mayans was pulled out of wisps of thin air by complete airheads.

Here is another simple question where the airheads will not have a clear answer: What do they think she could have done better than, say, Sweeney?

The circus has come to Manalapan once again. Every year in the first week of January all the clowns come out, putting on one of da best shows you'll ever see.

Now lets look in da first ring, we have da newly elected and their swearing in ceremonies. They take the oath to lie, cheat & benefit their own wallets. It seems almost like a repeat show from last year except for one MAJOR difference. Da lion tamer is no longer around. da lion tamer has been replaced by a new lion. This Yorktown lion is much more ferocious than any you have seen before and he has many more lions in his den. It's only a matter of time that da Yorktown lion send Mayor Lukass off in wooden shoes to GREENer pastures somewhere in HOLLAND-land.

Da second ring, we have da acting Police Chief being sworn in and being kissed by his boyfriend. As long as this acting guy plays da part of the Chief he should act like a Chief and not a John Wayne.

Also in da same ring is Iron Girth Republican Chairman McEnemy # One. We have to warn all da Truth tellers that if your water should start tasting a little rusty it may because of da Iron being spilled by da newest **PAID** member of da water utility. McEnemy # One has finally gotten his paid position he so desperately wanted.

da third ring is empty once again. Embedded sources have told us that da Roth-en one had advised her circus counterparts that she would be away Jan. 5th. She should have known better, we seem to remember da late Jolting Joe and da Republican club Prez making da same claims.

Da Circus has arrived.

As George Carlin said, Just cause you got da monkey off your back doesn't mean the circus has left town.

The circus will be in town for at least 2 more years. As for this truth teller, I think I'll just stay at home and watch da show on da Manalapan Network, Da Manalapan Biggest Losers.

Andrew Lucas is better than his idol Jim Gray. At least he isn't rezoning to allow thousands of homes like Gray did!

So Roth didn't realize that reorg day was January 5 and couldn't reschedule. Another good excuse from the "Queen" of good excuses. The more I read this blog the more I realize that whoever the lawyer is who writes it is absolutely right on.

"Da Circus has arrived."

Not that I disagree, but I think the circus has been in town too long. With Roth up for election, it looks like the circus has only one more year left before she is voted out of office. Then the circus can pitch a tent somewhere else.
