Another anniversary to remember - and holiday gift-giving from daTruthSquad!

At this time of year we at daTruthSquad remember many things - da plight of da taxpayer, those who are in need, and of course, da year 2007 when a group of politicians attempted to systematically remove da Constitution of da United States away from anyone who dared to simply do what our fathers and forefathers asked us to do - tell daTruth!

Yes, it was four years ago when daTruthSquad became a worldwide phenomenon after a group of politicians led by then-Mayor Andy Boy and daQueen sicked their legal bulldogs on a blogger whose sole mission was to inform town residents of a perceived wrong being done at taxpayer expense. In reality, what daTruthSquad was doing was simply exercising our First Amendment rights. What da Manalapan Township Committee wanted instead was to turn da town into Manalapanistan, and take away YOUR right to freedom of speech.

They expected us to hide in da corner and cower to their political might.

They expected us to shut our doors and move to a country that has Democracy as their form of government.

They expected us to be quiet so they could ruin da life of a great attorney and public servant.

They didn't expect we'd stand up against their plans, and be da focal point of worldwide rebuke against da Manalapan politicians who tried to silence a little old lady from Manalapan.

All you have to do to see just how far some politicians will go to keep their actions out of da public eye is to read how da Electronic Frontier Foundation stepped in, and not only had to correct da Manalapan Legal Dream Team who sent what was in effect an unenforceable subpoena, but also stood up to da Manalapan politicians and their Dream Team of taxpayer-funded attorneys and saved da people of da United States before da First Amendment and da Constitution of da United States could be torn to pieces for political gain!

See da Taxpayer-funded complaint written by da Manalapan Legal Dream Team against da Mosked Man here.

Read da 29-page document submitted to da court by da Manalapan Legal Dream Team that they believe claimed without a doubt that da Mosked Man is daTruthSquad - a document they may not have wanted you to see here.

See da now-infamous subpoena da Manalapan Legal Dream Team sent to daTruthSquad here!

See da billing records of one of da Manalapan Legal Dream Team lawyers for yourself here!

Finally, see what da judge had to say in his ruling that saved da First Amendment from da Manalapan politician trash heap!

Of course, as we all know thanks to da great work of real legal eagles at da EFF and legal skills of da Mosked Man indeed da First Amendment was saved, and freedom still rings in da great United States - and da Manalapan politicians and their taxpayer-funded lawyers suffered what may be their most embarrassing defeat - one da world was watching!

No, we will never forget this. It's one of da reasons people should donate to da non-profit EFF so da First Amendment and your rights can be protected!

With da holidays coming up, we have decided to place some goodies under da Christmas tree for da political elite of Manalapan.

For Manalapan Committeeman "Lyin" Ryan Green, we leave a wooden gavel. Since we believe he will be da next to have his mug placed on da wall of shame of Manalapan mayors next to da person who gives him his marching orders, that gavel will come in handy.

For Manalapan Committeeman Farmer Don, he gets free medical benefits. Now that da Manalapan GOP'er political elite doesn't need him anymore, he should have some type of free parting gifts from his alliance with Andy Boy. If he's learned nothing from da Queen's alliance with Andy Boy, nothing lasts forever.

For Manalapan Committeeman and soon-to-be former Land Baron Mayor Andy Boy, we find under da tree a discount coupon for campaign lawn signs. It seems every year, career politician ABL decides to run for some political office, only to be rebuffed by his own party. So, to be fair, if he runs for something in 2012 he may need more lawn signs.

Also, we're leaving another gift for Land Baron Mayor Andy Boy. Since his land grab was given da kiebosh by da Asbury Park Press and even some government bodies, we leave him da deed to all of Manalapan! If he wants something he may not be able to get fairly, then lets just give him da whole town!

For Manalapan GOP'er Grand Poobah and political Sewer Boy Steve "Iron Girth" McEnery, we leave him a brand new $20,000 toilet. Pulling da lever will be da taxpayers of Manalapan, so each time it flushes, Manalapan residents will have a hand in paying for it.

Then, we have da Queen, Michelle Roth. She spent over 10 years with her hands in Manalapan politics. She's a former mayor, former candidate for other offices, and next to Andy Boy maybe da single most polarizing person ever to hold office in Manalapan. For da Queen, we leave her a very large lump of coal.

You see, she was one of da reasons this blog began, so Manalapan residents could read what was really happening behind da scenes. Since we have had such great access to da inner workings of Manalapaan Town Hall we have seen much, and thanks to da help of so many, we have seen maybe too much. As for what 2012 will bring, we at DaTruthSquad expect bigger and hopefully better things. Less corruption, more cooperation. Less politics, more positive acts for da taxpayers. Less "Land Grab", less bickering, less taxes.

Have a happy and healthy holiday and new year to all da TruthTellers from all da many great people who are daTruthSquad.

As a Californian and fellow anonymous blogger who stands for freedom of speech I have been following your blog since I read about it in the news several years ago. It is because of people like you that we, the anonymous, can discuss daily events that some would rather not discuss. Thank you for standing up to us, whoever or whomever you are.

As a fellow blogger we stand with you daTruth because you stood up for us. That's why I donate every year to the Electronic Frontier Foundation because they stand up for our rights, the same rights our founding fathers risked their lives to grant us, and many of them were anonymous bloggers of their day. You are a patriot daTruth. Keep on fighting the good fight.

We may hate you, but this blog did discuss the things that Roth did and should take credit for her ouster. It also makes me think that not all is pristine with Manalapan Republicans too, to be fair.

Please keep up the good fight. Hopefully, you will continue your staunch opposition to the Lucas land-grab "boondoggle" in 2012 as you can see from past responses that you have the unanimous support of fellow bloggers.

Dear Seth

Is your campaign and you ever going to file your 20 day post election report? It was due weeks ago.

Anonymous said...

It is truly unfortunate that in a country with so much freedom of speech that people still must feel the need to speak anonymously otherwise they risk certain financial or other consequences.

I also note that while there have been constant attacks against Ms. Roth, please do not forget that even if you do not agree with everything she has done or for whatever reason you have do not like her she did serve her community for many years. These types of personal attacks are one reason why more people simply do not choose to run for office.
cheers

@"Even if you do not agree with everything she has done or for whatever reason you have do not like her she did serve her community for many years."
No rational person would call her egomaniac conduct and patently insane lawsuits "community service." No gilded paintbrush could ever cover such a record.

Dear Anonymous-
thank you for your concern and warm wishes at this holiday season and yes the report has gone out. No need to worry yourself anymore. Have a good holiday and happy new year.
regards and best wishes

This is what I mean by the attack dog conduct we have. Rather than acknowledge that someone has served the community the writer engages in personal attacks. Again you can believe what you want about Ms. Roth and what she did or did not do in her public life. However, it is not fair to totally disrespect her and some of the things she did for the community during her public service.

Also your reference to patently insane lawsuits as a criticism of her I frankly do not understand. By definition calling something patently insane means that it has no basis in law or fact. Therefore, the anonymous writer is not attacking Ms. Roth but the plaintiffs in those cases, their motivation and their lawyers. Careful what you say you may be sued for defamation next.

Oh and one final thought it is my understanding that one of the lawsuits you blame Ms. Roth on I believe Mayor Lucas is named as well. Do you blame him equally?

Remember anyone who is willing to pay the filing fee can sue.

More big but empty threats from someone who does not understand the first thing about libel suits and public officials. Manalapan officials have a long history of futility in trying to thwart the airing of their ineptitude and venality, starting with comments more than 30 years ago about the lack of snowplowing and continuing to the modern day with victories by DaTruthSquad, Moskovitz, Brown etc.

Could you look into Englishtown?? We have a council woman Jayne Carr who would make the Manalapan committee look like they are a church choir.

Dear Seth

Happy New Year
Congrats on being appointed to the Finance Committee.

By the way if the NJ ELEC post election report is on its way, maybe you should check with your treasurer, because NJ ELEC still shows no 20 day post election report for you or your runningmate.

thank you Mr. or Ms. Anonymous to stay totally gender neutral. I thank the Mayor and committee for the appointment and look forward to serving.

As for my ELEC report I know it went out because I posted it myself. Chalk one up to slow mail around holiday time and/or slow posting up or down in Trenton.

No one was making threats or questioning anyone's right in this country to post anonymously. Only pointing out that it seems that suing in Manalapan for libel/slander/defamation seems to happen quite often.

Lyin' Ryan Green got betrayed by the Queen of the domestic violence team. She is Mayor and Green is running for re-election. How did that happen Mr. Green? I bet it was Lucas's idea. Did you not kiss his ass enough by voting to give him a cool million to buy Manalapan land?

To see more about Green's new activities, check out his audition for a Freeholder nomination on moremonmouthmusings.net. It has a pretty good report on how he stacks up against the competition.

There was "no basis in law or fact." And if you want to advise "Careful what you say you may be sued for defamation next," you ought to make clear that it is a preventative warning because in this climate with Manalapan's sordid history of such suits, the first scent that comes to mind is an unvarnished threat.

Understood and certainly apologize if my commments were misunderstood by you. I agree it appears that in this township people resort to suing first asking questions later.
My comment was directed to the toxic environment in the town as evidenced by some of the anoymous postings here.

Ryan Green Takes A Shot At Holmdel Township Committee

Serena DiMaso fires back

Manalapan Township Committee Member Ryan Green, a candidate for Freeholder in tomorrow’s Title 19 election, has taken the gloves off in what until now has been a clean and collegial intra-party contest.

Green issued a press release late last night criticizing the Holmdel Township Committee for considering selling land, including land purchased with Green Acres dollars, to close a budget deficit. Green based his criticism upon a January 6 article in the Holmdel Patch.

Holmdel Deputy Mayor Serena DiMaso is competing with Green, along with Howell Mayor Bob Walsh and Atlantic Highlands Councilman Peter Doyle for the freeholder seat vacated by Assemblyman Rob Clifton.

“To learn that the Holmdel Township Committee would consider selling one of our most valued resources in Monmouth County, open space, is very disappointing. I have a strong record of preserving open space, as I believe it improves our quality of life. I will never support selling any of it,” Green said.

Green believes very strongly that when governing bodies purchase land, especially with Green Acres funding, it should be maintained as open space. Ryan has been a leader in preserving open space in Manalapan since joining the Township Committee.

He is also concerned that selling land, as the Holmdel Township Committee is considering doing, is a short-term solution to address Holmdel’s looming budget deficit.

“In order to address budget deficits, we need long-term solutions. We need to prioritize what services are being provided, reduce spending, and find new shared services agreements that can save taxpayer dollars. Once that land is sold, it’s unlikely that Monmouth County will ever get it back,” Green stated.

DiMaso shot back, “If we sell, it would be 10 acres of a 400 acre facility to a soccer academy. It will be deed restricted for recreational use, so it will remain open space, and its use will not change. The sale will have Green Acres approval.”

“The Plum Lane property that Ryan ‘read’ about was not purchased with Green Acres money. It was donated to the Township and is surplus land.”

“If Ryan wanted to engage in a genuine debate about open space, why wait until the 11th hour with a press release? I saw Ryan on the campaign trail three times this week. He has my number and my email. He could have brought this up anytime. This type of last minute distortion is very disappointing coming from a so called Republican. Maybe Ryan’s ambition and NJEA DNA is more dominant in his character than status as a Republican, especially one who promised to run a positive campaign. If he broke this promise to a fellow Republican, what promises will he break to the Monmouth County taxpayer?“--moremonmouthmusingss.net

For a member of the manalapan TC to blow it out his rear end about a mdecision in another town, where it has nop effect on manalapan except maybe to poison relations with the other town, and to do it for his personal political purposes, is the essence of misuse of his public office. he's a total amateur and chump, and should resign asap.

This Should Do Wonders for Manalapan's Stature said...

First ballot:
Serena DiMaso: 243
Peter Doyle: 64
Ryan Green: 39
Bob Walsh: 140
DiMaso won 50% of he votes. The rules require 50% plus one for a new Freeholder to be elected.
The machines are being reset.

Losers

Ryan Green. The Manalapan Committeeman didn’t realize that, like Doyle, he was never going to overcome the countywide support that DiMaso and Walsh had built in previous runs for the office. Doyle got it in the last week of the campaign and kept building relationships for the future. Green threw an ill advised Hail Mary pass with his 11th hour press release bashing DiMaso. DiMaso intercepted the errant pass and ran it back for a touchdown, leaving Green and Manalapan Chairman Steve McEnry, the advisor, damaged. Rather than leaving this campaign with a base to build on going forward, Green finds himself stuck in a hole that McEnry let him dig. Green was slated to be Mayor of Manalapan prior to entering the freeholder race. Now he’s an ambitious committeeman who has been publicly chastised by a newly elected freeholder for breaking the “11th commandment.”

Steve McEnry. See Ryan Green above. Manalapan has 52 county committee members. Green only received 39 votes total. An embarrassing failure for the Manalapan Chairman.

Jim Giannell. The Kingmaker’s winning streak has been broken. After his candidate, Walsh, conceded, Giannell graciously passed the mantle to Fitzsimmons.

Monmouth County Democrats. DiMaso was not the candidate they were rooting for. Regardless of who their new chairman is, Vin Gopal or Frank “LaHornica” LaRocca, they will be hard pressed to field a competitive slate this year.

The Asbury Park Press. As of 5:25PM they still have not reported that Monmouth County has a new freeholder. APP has made no mention of the special Title 19 election since Christmas Eve.
