We Missed Da Convicted Felon – So Let’s Blame da Deputy Mayor

Da most recent Bozo-torial in da local Snoozepaper regarding da way Manalapan Deputy Mayor Susan Cohen handled Manalapan's buy of a piece of land at taxpayer expense was more a work of fiction than da Poseidon Adventure. Da Bozo-torial in question, instead of admitting they got scooped instead lashed out like a 2-year old denied candy by their parents. Instead of admitting it got scooped by a better and actual newspaper, it dissected da way Manalapan Deputy Mayor Susan Cohen handled da vote, and then her statements to another and more qualified newspaper regarding who has their tentacles in this land deal.

Forget da Brooklyn Bridge – If you believe that Bozo-torial’s slant, then they have a 25-acre tract in Manalapan to sell you, and you’ll buy it for 2-times da valued price --- OH, sorry. Da Manalapan Township Committee, funded by its taxpayers – IT DID JUST THAT!

Unfortunately for da Snoozepaper readers, while it attacks Susan Cohen in a petty, juvenile, nasty and partisan way, it does nothing in regards to da knowledge a convicted felon's history in this deal, and that a former Manalapan mayor of da party pushing this land deal, thanks to political donatons, already profited from it! In fact, da only things missing from da Bozo-torial was daTruth and da name “Mosked Man.”

Da problem, as printed on da right side of this blog under da heading "Da Hidden Truth" is that da Snoozepaper reporter in question never asked any questions, and apparently neither did her editors. If they did, their “happy-happy-joy-joy” press release about da Manalapan land deal might have included such interesting tidbits, such as (A) da role of da CONVICTED FELON, (B) which party got POLITICAL DONATIONS, (c) who paid 2 TIMES WHAT DA LAND WAS WORTH, and (D) NOBODY HAS EVEN A CLUE AS TO WHAT THEY’RE GOING TO DO WITH DA EXPENSIVE LAND!

Entitled, "Speaking Up At The Right Time," it claims "During the July 16 public meeting, Cohen never mentioned her concerns about any alleged connection between former Middlesex County Democratic power broker John Lynch and the Providence Corporation and the Manalapan Democratic Party. She made no claims that Lynch was "wheeling" money into Manalapan Democratic campaigns in order to influence elections or to seek favors in return for the cash."

However, Cohen certainly did when she spoke to da Asbury Park Press when they interviewed her about da deal. This leads to da following questions - all of which da Snoozepaper reporter either did not ask for whatever reason:

1. Obviously all 5 members, including Mayor da Queen knew whose tentacles were attached to this land deal. Why did not ANY of da 5, including da Queen or da Township Attorney say anything?

2. Why was this information not disclosed to ANYONE before da vote or during da public hearing?

3. Is it possible that some on da Committee did have knowledge of da Lynch Mob's ties, and kept it from others on da Committee? This could mean that Cohen found out after da fact & da vote, which would be good reason to allow da Asbury Park Press to interview her.

4. Instead of da obvious childish partisan attack by da Snoozepaper against Cohen, why not ask why da reporter who said in her report that everybody was happy and life was peaches & cream (da Gang of 3 portrayal), yet had no mention in her story about whose tentacles were attached to this deal, or better, which CONVICTED FELON was attached to this land deal?

5. Where is da outrage by da Snoozepaper editorial staff, not at Cohen but at what has da appearance of political cronyism at its best by a political machine?

6. And what of da former Democratic mayor, who in 2003 received a large donation from da “New Beginnings” PAC run by John Lynch. He would later win that campaign.

Now, here are some more wild accusations made by da Snoozepaper with ABSOLUTELY NO MERIT:

"It seems as if Cohen was handed a script to follow after the July 16 committee meeting and then spoon fed that story - juicy as it was with alleged political misdeeds - to a daily newspaper, which lapped it up and ran it a week later as news."

This is an accusation that most certainly demands an apology from da Snoozepaper to Mrs. Cohen. Anyone who knows Mrs. Cohen knows her reputation, integrity and honor are beyond reproach. She brings class to what is a very classless Township Committee, and has been nothing less than a breath of fresh air where professionalism & dependability come into play. And as for spoonfed, and a great example of not doing your homework and dropping da ball, please read da story that spawned this whole situation.

"Given the known facts of the matter, it appears that Cohen was more committed to carrying the water of her political cronies than she was to serving the interests of the voters who elected her."

If da Snoozepaper did their 1st grade homework, they'd know da "political cronies" they mention REFUSED to back her or lend her any support because they knew she would not walk in goose step with them. If anyone at that table TRULY serves da voting public, it is Cohen and Independent Anthony Gennaro who are both not beholden to "political machines" and are in fact enemies of them.

Oh, and if that doesn't help you realize da Snoozer wouldn't know "political cronyism" if it fell over it, here's da Asbury Park Press story about da ties between Da Lynch Mob, da head of da Pucci Posse, and why some in manalapan want Monroe's MegaMegaMegaMall built a stone's throw from da Manalapan border so Manalapan's Village can't be built. THIS IS DA STORY THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW!

"Cohen never mentioned her concerns about any alleged connection between former Middlesex County Democratic power broker John Lynch and the Providence Corporation and the Manalapan Democratic Party."

What da Snoozepaper neatly avoids to mention is that NOBODY in da Manalapan government said anything about da Lynch Mob's ties! This means either da reporter didn't know and she didn't do her job, or da Manalapan government didn't know which means they weren't doing their jobs, or they did know and they were doing their jobs for a certain political party, any of which is grounds for an investigation, each more serious than da next.

DaTruth is twofold.

One, da local Snoozepaper was caught asleep at da switch because they missed da facts, rather worse, their report seemed more scripted than anything else. They missed da connection, and da competition wiped da floor with them. Da Snoozer editors have da right to be angry, but not at Mrs. Cohen. They should be asking their reporter why they should be paying her salary, and why da hard questions are not being asked. They got scooped – and scooped badly by da competition – and they looked real bad in da process.

Two, da Snoozepaper should have taken a hard & serious look into da Providence Corporation, and who has their tentacles in it, and who has received political donations from it and those whose tentacles are in it, because if they did, da name "LYNCH" would have popped up right next to da words "CONVICTED FELON," which to some might just be a serious red flag.

Over da years, daTruthSquad has had da dubious distinction of being da target of written attacks by da local Snoozepaper editor for what has been written in this blog. It was twice written that daTruthSquad "pulls da wings off of flies" by none other than da Snoozer editor. Whether daTruthSquad sits around daTruth Ranch doing what they claim is irrelevant. Attacking Susan Cohen because their own newspaper missed da real story about da Tillis-Gate land deal is very relevant and juvenile. Hiding daTruth about "Da Township of Manalapan vs da Mosked Man" and not reporting da well over $100,000 that has been spent for a $10,500 cleanup job isn't just relevant, it's beyond reproach.

DaTruth is, this Bozo-torial shows exactly what da local Snoozepaper really is. It showed its true colors by attacking Susan Cohen. It showed by attacking Susan Cohen it has an agenda. It showed by attacking Susan Cohen it missed da real story. It showed by attacking Susan Cohen apparently does not care about da real news or da fact they missed that a CONVICTED FELON has ties to a land deal, it gives da appearance it does what it is told by da very "political cronies" it claims tells da person who answered another reporter's questions.

DaTruth is, pure & simple, that da local Snoozepaper missed da REAL story, which da other newspaper didn't miss. Da Snoozepaper got scooped – pure & simple.

* Da real story is not that Susan Cohen didn't say anything during da vote -- it's that NOBODY ON DA MANALAPAN TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE - DA MAYOR - DA ATTORNEY - DA TOWN ADMINISTRATOR - SAID NOTHING!

*Da real story is not that da Asbury Park Press got it right, and they did, it's that da local Snoozepaper didn't come close!

*Da real story is not Susan Cohen's integrity, which is beyond reproach, it's instead why Manalapan in da first place bought a piece of land for an overinflated price from a company with ties, according to da Asbury Park Press to CONVICTED FELON John Lynch!

* Da real story is that Manalapan taxpayers shelled out $1.4 million dollars for land worth half that according to records, and even admit they have no clue as to what they want to do with it! One committeeman floated da bubble-headed idea of building a "bubble stadium," and another mentioned expanding da already-expanding Manalapan Rec. There was talk of building more homes, and talk about making da land a "revenue stream," and talk about leasing da land to someone else.

I'm sure a lot of regular people do things like spend $1.4 million dollars every day yet not have even 1 clue as to what they want to spend that money on. Even worse - IT'S SOMEONE ELSE'S MONEY - DA TAXPAYERS!

DaTruth is, this is something da fine folks at da Snoozepaper can't blame on Susan Cohen, or da Mosked Man, or anyone else - but themselves. They missed da real story, and blamed everyone else for it - but themselves! It's no wonder all over Manalapan and other towns, Snoozepapers wrapped in plastic are laying on wet lawns or being driven over on driveways, and when it is brought inside, it’s read by more guinea pigs and parakeets in their cages than John Q. Public on their couches.

And that's daTruth.

Whoever wrote the editorial needs to remember this. Documentation and investigation is pivotol to having credibility. Did the News Transcript review the douments on ELEC? Perhaps Mrs. Cohen did not speak of this matter as she herself had not seen the doumentation until after the meeting? Due diligence is imperative when making such a remark about political wheeling and campaigning. I am disappointed in the Transcript for their attack on Mrs. Cohen and Alesiha Williams of the APP. So the real qustion that needs to be answered by the Transcript editor is this? Are YOU okay that the land has a history to John Lynch or that there were political contributions to local Manalapan officals campaigns made through this politcal pac?? I hope their answer is no as they have been quite vocal in the past about local campaign financing. Are wewitnessing a double standard by the Transcript?. I hope not.

Tlak about what an ethics review board should look into. Wonder what shennigans went on in Englishtown.

Do the people who think they run a newspaper at the Transcript have a mental health plan?

The story about Englishtown mentioned Stu Moskovitz by name so many times I lost count. The story never mentions the fact Moskovitz, the town lawyer, merely sent the letter on orders from his local government. The way they wrote the story makes it sound like Moskovitz wrecked Manalapan's plans for spite.

Between that and the very hateful story written by the editorial writer, it's clear there is an obvious and inherint bias in what is written in the Transcript. I for one, have read my last Transcript today. If I wantto know what's happening around here, I'll trust my neighbors and this blog to tell me.

Whoever wrote that editorial in the newspaper should be fired. What a pathetic piece of garbage. It truly is a snoozepaper.

Boy did Rosman hit a nerve or what? That is a lot of verbage, Squad! You really need to get another hobby or your job is going to suffer.

I wonder if the ex attorney is going to show some guts and appear before the Township Committee. But no, he never does. He is afraid. He will not face the Committee. He wouldn't dare. He will continue to hide in the dark where he belongs and come out like a dry gulcher and shoot more people in the back.
The chickens are coming home to roost and no amount of delaying is going to save your butt.

The one who cast the first salvo was the Transcript attacking Cohen.

Why didn't the Transcript ask if Roth knew that her political crony accepted money from Lynch's pac? Ms. Roth has professed she does her homeowrk on everything. Why wasn't she asked if she knew the full background of this property, the owner and his financial contribution to Shapiro's campaign? After all isn't Roth the one who has bragged that she is always prepared and does her homework? How convenient, did she not do it this time? Did she vote knowing that the land owner had made donations to Shapiro and she ignored that fact? Those are the questions the Transcript needs to ask. Of course at this juncture Roth will deny she knew this too and voted anyway. Has the Transcript reviewed the documents from elect on this or did they ignore those facts? Better question is why didn't Baratta reprot them in her original article?

Anonymous said...

LOL. Did someone really ask whether the "ex attorney" will appear before the Township Committee? Why? Why on earth would he, a current attorney, participate in what is the laughing stock of the whole township. Drew Shapiro is out of politics for going after him. Andrew Lucas' political career is over for going after him. Michelle Roth will never get through November trying to keep the taxpayers paying $100,000 to sue him for $10,000 when all he did was follow a court order she was responsible for to begin with. So her career is over too for going after him. Kathy Baratta isn't taken seriously by ANYONE because of her psychotic obsession with him. McEnery has totally lost control of the republican party because of his obsession with him. And He hasn't had to attend a single township committee meeting to accomplish any of that. In the meantime the best they can do in response if file a lawsuit that's eventually going to come out of their own pockets when he files his malicious prosecution suit at the end of the case, a lawsuit trying to say he did something wrong by following a court order, and then have Kathy Baratta try to claim he did something wrong by following the Borough Council's orders in writing a letter refusing to waste $1,000,000 for a project that has no value to anyone. You might be taken more seriously if you asked why CME managed to spend $300,000 without even coming up with a final design for the project, or why Manalapan's taxpayers need to foot the bill for a multimillion dollar project to wipe out what amounts to a speed bump in the road. Give me $3,000 and I'll do the whole thing for you. When is Christie going to realize that the Roth/Shapiro/Lucas gang is the most corrupt in the State -- and it's that way because it has the full cooperation and participation of the newspaper that's supposed to be a watchdog.

Anonymous said...

From NJ.COM where it is sure to be deleted: I guarantee you'll never see this in a News Transcript editorial:

Shenanigans? The Borough of Englishtown ordered their attorney to tell Manalapan that they won't participate in the corruption that is this project. He did what they told him to do. But you're right. An ethics panel needs to look into this. An ethics panel needs to investigate 1. why has CME already received $300,000 for a project that hasn't yet been approved? 2. Why was there no bid for this work; it went to the engineer that is the largest single contributor to the democratic and Lucas (same thing) campaigns. 3. Why is this project growing out of control from $100,000 to $500,000 to $1,000,000 to $1,250,000 and more when all it's supposed to do is fix the bump at the intesection of highbridge and iron ore roads? 4. Why is the design constantly changing to grow larger and larger without any noticeable benefit to either community? 5. Why is Michelle Roth -- already caught with her hand in the cookie jar over the Tillis property fiasco, paying $600,000 too much for convicted felon John Lynch's property -- so fanatic about doing this worthless project? Who's making out on this one? 6. Why are they lying about the need to condemn the property of an eighty year old woman for a project nobody but Michelle and CME wants and nobody needs? Ethics panel? I think at this point it's far more important that the U.S. Attorney review this project, along with the Tillis property, the unauthorized 100,000 lawsuit over a 10,000 cleanup and almost everything else Michelle Roth has been involved with. Sharpe James, move over; you ain't got nothin' over Michelle Roth.

What Da Lack of Truth Squad failed to mention is the purchase being to settle a lawsuit which would potentially bring many more houses to a crowded area. The green acres appraisal was based upon the land used as open space. The market value appraisals showed the property based on the original 1 acre zoning and the new zoning, with obviously more value on the land using the original zoning since more houses could be built. This lawsuit went on for 7 years, long before any of the current TC members were elected. The fact that Lynch's pac made donations to previous administrations is irrelevant.

Anonymous said...

wow, you are sooooo bad at spin. The Dreyer property purchase was to settle another lawsuit that, like this one, was cause by Shapiro's dumba$$ actions. And why are we even settling this lawsuit. Either the downzoning pushed by Shapiro was correct or it was not correct. The township planner, who is the same township planner we have today, said everything was hunky dory. If it wasn't, are you going to sue him, too? If not, why not? Why are you paying $1.4 million dollars to settle a lawsuit so you don't have to pay for litigation, while you are spending the same legal fees to prosecuting a case over 10,000 in clean up costs. Larry, come on. Remember that ad you wrote years ago saying, "Are you stupid?" Guess what, Larry. We're not stupid. You're going to find that out in November. Just a few months before you're writing out that check to pay the judgment in Stu's malicious prosecution case against your wife.

Anonymous said...

I agree with the other guy. A convicted felon's donations to a political campaign are irrevelent. Over $1 million to fix a bump in a road is irrevelent. CME getting $60,000 to tell Manalapan they need $10,000 to fix a soil issue is irrevelent. Trying to remove Freedom of Speech and spending taxpayer money to do it is irrevelent.

It may be irrevelent to political hacks like Lucas and his handlers and Roth and her handlers. However, I pray every day it isn't irrevelent to people like Chris Christie and Anne Milgram. Maybe since they're done with Sharpe James they'll have time to revisit Manalapan again. They raided the WMUA so they know where Manalapan is.

I wonder who profited from this disaster on Woodward Road.

by nomistake, 7/30/08 17:12 ET
this morning about the terrible paving job on the newly "improved" Woodward Road between Daum and McCAffery Roads. Apparently, it was deleted for some reason. I just traveled Woodward Road and this morning's post was 100% correct....the newly paved and opened section is an "abortion". Nothing but dips and bumps! Just as bad, when you cross McCaffery going to Millhurst there are two large "cess" pools of water on either side of the drainage pipe under Woodward that dumps the overflow from a MeadowCreek catch basin into the woods behind McCaffery Road. I recall several residents complaining about the situation at a TC Committe meeting in the early Spring, and the Township Engineer acknowledged that it was a poor design and would be rectified, but apparently nothing has been done to improve this unsightly and potentially dangerous situation.

I just read the above post and I have read the Stu Moskovitz bashing by the Roth supporters. Moskovitz has been the borough attorney in Englishtown for several years, there they have a town council, who by all accounts have no issue with his legal capabilites or him personally. He does have clients, including the parents of Drew Shapiro who went out of their way to hire him against their son. Now for those of us not in the political ranks, doesn't it appear that it is soley the Manalapan Democrats Roth, Ward, Shapiro, Lucas and Klauber who have issue with everything Moskovitz does?

Anonymous said...

Did Stu tell you to write that Cynthia?

No. I believe there are quite a few Republicans who have issue with the ex attorney...Hall, Mchenry, Lucas, Green, Garcia, Nicki and on and on and on. This is why the man wouldn't dare run again for office and stays behind in the shadows.

in one little post. I watch channel 77 and I see that she's the only professional up there. Klauber is clueless. Genarro is asleep. Michelle is busy being obnoxious and spending money the taxpayers don't have and Lucas is trying to remember if he took his estrogen today. The attorney is busy reading comic books or something because he never knows what's going on. And you want to criticize the deputy mayor? As for the attorney you're referring to, from what I read in the Asbury Park Press, a real newspaper, not the Baratta BS, there was nothing wrong with the contract at all; the contract followed the court order. The problem was the court order that ROTH AND SHAPIRO approved. But of course, just like Roth had to blame everyone else for her I hate Italians fiasco, you want to blame someone else for Michelle's screw up in 2004. And where do you get the idea he's in "trouble?" Lucas is the only person in this case so far that is likely to pay any damages, and when the case is over, Michelle and Lucas and Weeks and McCarthy are going to be paying him HUGE dollars to settle the malicious prosecution case. I'd say he's doing pretty darn well on this case building up the hours and fees.

Looks like Lucas is starting to feel a little pressure judging by his posts above. Oh, believe me, it's sooooo easy to tell Lucas is posting. There's a certain style that Lucas has, that of an irritated Queen that's unmistakable. In fact, most of the time when you see a post against Stu -- the person who discovered Lucas lied about his residence -- and sued Lucas for trying to fix an election by keeping him away from Cohen's campaign -- you can place a safe bet that it's Lucas. As for the numbskull that says "republicans" are against Stu,your facts are a little off. McEnery, his puppet, and his puppet's "close friend" Hall, a proven perjurer, are against Stu. McEnery, because he's out of his mind jealous about everyone pointing out that it was Stu, not McEnery that was responsible for the victory in 2004, Lucas, because Stu wouldn't throw Locricchio under the bus for him, and Hall, because he's a shallow, useless problem with severe emotional problems totally controlled by McEnery and Lucas who pat him on the head and send him off to do suicidal missions. Nikki gave her campaign money to Butch and Johnson, if you'll recall, rather than McEnery's candidates, and has no problem with Stu. From what I understand, she has REAL problems with McEnery, who failed to properly file, spent money he didn't tell her about, and was the principal reason she lost the election. Green and Garcia don't know Stu, may never have met him and probably have no opinion about him. What they do know, however, is that here it is August and once again, as Republican candidates they have been left hanging by McEnery, who has raised no money for them, arranged no campaign meetings, organized nothing, made a deal with Ward to get Roth reelected, refuses to tell Green and Garcia about events they should be attending, has no following in the Republican party and is guaranteeing a Green and Garcia defeat, in exchange for a promise of a job the republican county organization refuses to give him. As for Stu not running for office. He's hardly hiding. Why on earth would he run for office and attend meetings for next to nothing when he's now getting paid to attend meetings? Duh! No wonder AT8T send you out to pasture, McEnery.

The parents of Drew Shapiro didn't go "out of their way" to hire Stu. Stu was ambulence chasing and saw the lawsuit filed by Murray and then Stu solicited Murray to take the case so Stu could embarrass his political rival. What's wrong, Stu...can't get real referrals from satisfied customers so you have to go in the gutter looking for them? How has that representation of Manalapan Retail Partners worked out for you? Gotten many referrals from your ability to change the zoning to allow MRP to build their MegaMall or put in residential housing? I didn't think so. Go back to downtown Freehold...you might find a few straglers at the courthouse looking to sue someone.

Anonymous said...

Considering that Drew Shapiro's parent do not talk to him, nor does his sister. It is very funny that you make this assertion that his parents did not reach out for Stu Moksovitz to represent them. They proudly have stated they did and how they went about it
reaching out. That is the truth. Doubt me ask them yourself. They have nothing to hide, they were floored when their son sued them for eviction after everything they have done for him.

You people are missing the obvious - Cohen wanted to vote no but saved face by bringing up this nonsensical 'conflict of interest'. Why is she against preserving open space? Why doesn't she see the opportunity available to us to buy the proprty next door to the rec center? Or does she just want more houses to be built in town?

Anonymous said...

Maybe Cohen realized that Michelle Roth has maxed out the Manalapan taxpayers with her spending for a bond payment purchase. Or that Cohen realized that spending $1.4 million of the open space trust fund would wipe it out completely she said no. Considering that the State has no more money in their open space fund, they can't help replenish ours. Maybe Cohen feels that 10 more homes is a hell of a lot less expensesive that maintaining and paying for another sports field. Remember Manalapan tax dollars spent are to benefit all of the people. The way Michelle has spent our tax money at the Rec she has abandoned so many other residents needs all to satisfy her sports supporters.

Political Michelle Roth at it again.

If you have proof that Stu represented Manalapan Realty Partners, come forward with it. Considering that Stu has handled cases against Manalapan Realty Partners, it sounds like just more alcohol induced foaming at the mouth from the criminals Stu has fought in Manalapan's government for years. And the lies about Stu asking Murry to represent him were already proven. McEnery and Lucas had Peter Hall sign a certification making that allegation and it has already been established that Peter Hall committed perjury by Murry's own testimony under oath. Peter will have to pay the price for committing a crime to help his boyfriend. You people really need to get a life. While you're spending every day spreading garbage about Stu that everybody realizes is just the criminal element striking back -- including certain law enforcement officials -- Stu is earning a living, something none of you seem to be able to do -- not Hall, not Lucas, not McEnery, not Ward, not Baratta (what does she get $25.00 an article?). So the jokes on you, isn't it?

Anonymous said...

just for clarification, the law enforcement officials spoken about above are the ones investigating the criminal element in Manalapan. They are not part of it.

Anonymous said...

The question I have is how dumb can Peter be? No one but Murry could possibly have known about the lawsuit until it was filed. It was filed by Stu. That means what Peter Hall said under oath, and subject to perjury couldn't possibly be true. Stu couldn't have solicited a case he couldn't possibly know about before he was hired by Murry. What a dumb schmuck Hall is. No wonder the Englishtown Fire Department won't let him be an officer any more.

What's the name of that suit?

And does Jayne Carr know about it? After all, anyone who knows anything at all about Western Monmouth/Freehold Area knows that she has always spoken out clearly for many years about a large variety of issues. And she once again makes that clear here, pointing out that Manalapan kept Englishtown in the dark.

I like the part of the story that says the judge in Manalapan's case supposedly told Moskovitz to add whoever he wants to the lawsuit.

Boy are we going to have fun on this blog when the town wrecker gets what's coming to him. I have already captured a dozen posts by the clowns that shill for the town wrecker. Such fun it is going to be! When the rest of the town finds out, town wrecker won't be able to get arrested in Manalapan!

Anonymous said...

You really need to get a job or do something constructive with your life. The town wrecker? Really? Is that the best you can do? Let's see. First of all, who is the town wrecker? Is it the person who brought this town almost to insolvency? That would be Roth and Ward. Is it the person responsible for a nearly 50% increase in taxes in two years? That would be Roth and Lucas. Is it the person who left us with a nearly 2 million dollar deficit in 2006? That would be Roth and Shapiro. Is it the person who turned everyone off to government by mailing ugly pieces of gutter campaign literature? That would be Ward and McEnery. Is it the person who made our political parties corrupt puppets for out of town crooks? That would be Ward and McEnery. Is it the person who defrauded the entire township by running for office in Manalapan while living in Freehold. That would be Lucas. The person I'm sure it's not is the person who lowered taxes each of the three years he was in office, while increasing the police department, increasing the surplus and increasing other services, created the open space trust fund, brought 2.5 million dollars in grant money to the township while he was mayor, ordered the original design for the rec center expansion, threw Norman Kauff out of town, fired Cramer, the person who was responsible for the downzoning that is now going to cost us 1.4 million dollars, because after he threw Cramer out of town, Shapiro and his puppets brought him back. Let's see what else. Oh yeah, he also created all kinds of programs for the senior citizens that were ignored before he got there and, considering that there have been no new programs since he left, are being ignored again. He broke ground for the arboretum. He came up with the first plans to clean up Thompson Grove Park that were killed by Shapiro in a fit of jealousy. As attorney, he helped reverse the financial disaster left the township by Roth, cut the legal bills in half, made sure the court order was followed to settle the litigation caused by Shapiro. Even better, while he was township attorney, THERE WAS NOT ONE SINGLE NEW CASE FILED AGAINST THE TOWNSHIP OF MANALAPAN. Town wrecker. Don't know who you're referring to, but I sure know who you can't be referring to.

I am rather entertained by the term "town wrecker." I think that there is a wall in town hall for the pictures of our former mayors, many who looking back on their deeds can be classified as "town wreckers." Our current Mayor Roth is no exception to this newly coined phrase "town wrecker." Perhaps they want to add that moniker to the plaque when they inscribe her name. Thanks for the new phrase, you learn something new everyday.

It's so easy to push certain people's buttons. ROFLMAO...... How utterly pathetic!

The end is at hand, so will say it the court!

I heard the same thing. Shapiro's going down in the case against his father; hall's been charged with perjury; Lucas is being investigated by the county prosecutor and Mcenery has been notified by elec of his violations. Yep, the end is nigh alright.

Anonymous said...

yep, and if all that happens, guess how many careers will end. Yep, uh, none. None of them have a career; none of them can earn a living; none of them have a life. No wonder they're such close friends. Lucas and Hall especially, I'm told.

Curious.....

What would happen if Roth is not running a transparent government as she has claimed?

Would you be surprised?

Would she be re elected in November?

Anonymous said...

Peter Hall can't be an fire department officer anymore? Is it because he gets drunk? Is it because he got let go by a cop for DUI when he was the Republican municipal candidate? Is it because he lies under oath? Is it because he ran porn websites? Is it because he had an alleged affair with a prominate Republican's daughter?

No! It is because he........

Michelle Roth your swipe today in the APP against a former township employee was not missed.

It shows us all that you have not learned anything and that you just can't help yourself.

Congratulations!!

You just pi**ed off the mayor of an adjoining town since the swipe you made is on his life long family friend and administrator!

Now it is our turn to ask you Michelle Roth, are you stupid?

Anonymous said...

You need not ask if Roth is stupid, just look at her shenanigans on channel 77 at every meeting. Her true colors come through each and every time!

Anonymous said...

I think what I read in the APP today is the best possible description of what Michelle Roth is -- a vicious, cold hearted, selfish narcissist. Think about it. She wants to take away the health benefits from senior retirees who need them the most, while refusing to give up her own health benefits which she gets for working a few hours a week to destroy the township. She really should be the leader of a banana republic, or one of those gold mine owners she represents who live off the blood and sweat of their workers. As far as I'm concerned anyone who votes for her in November is just as disgusting as she is, for supporting this piece of filth.

Sounds like a prudent move by Roth to reduce our out of control retirement benefits. Why should someone work for a town for 24 years them switch to Manalapan for us to have to cover the entire 25 years? Putting this in place will discourage scavengers from going to work for Manalapan for only a few years, just for the benefits.

Roth and Shapiro hired her. When she wouldn't be their puppet they made her life a living hell. Shapiro it is alleged told her she was too old, as he was anxiously pushing to have Tara appointed in her place.

She retired allegedly under extreme duress from her working environment and Tara got her job. Need I say more.

The proof is in the outcome.

Now Roth is mad she has to pay her benefits?! Maybe Roth and Shapiro should have treated her better and with respect. Maybe she should still sue them for age discrimination.

Anonymous said...

"Sounds like a prudent move..." Only the Roths could say something that dumb. You want a prudent move? How about making sure part time political hacks like you don't get health benefits at taxpayers' expense that are intended for full time workers who need them? Wow, what an ugly person you are. Apartheidist is too NICE a word for someone like you, you arrogant, cold-hearted, selfish elitist.

I think Roth's campaign slogan should be "Oops I did it again" Everytime Michelle Roth opens her mouth she shows us all time and time again what a hypocrite she is.
Michelle Roth is is the new poster child for double standards! Give up your free benefits Roth!

Michelle Roth needs to go, it is that simple.

I implore the residents of Covered Bridge that vote Democratic to please listen. You need to realize you are not the only one's on fixed incomes, many of the other 37K residents are too and they can't afford the non stop taxation of Michelle Roth. We need your help!

Does anyone else post comments on this rag of a blog besides the town wrecker?

Anonymous said...

i didn't even realize Shapiro and Roth were the ones posting.

Anonymous said...

seriously, why are you even answering this clown. Both parties are being run by a group of losers who have raised taxes record amounts, can't balance a budget, are dyed in the wool racists, are totally obsessed with the only honest mayor this town had in the last nine years, and the only one who actually balanced a budget. They are jealous of him. he has a career; they don't. So if they want to continue to make fools of themselves by posting this garbage pretending we don't know exactly who they are -- Larry Roth, Shapiro, McEnery and Lucas -- let them. Who cares? The person they're attacking is laughing at them and we should too.

Anonymous said...

You are right. What would Ward, McEnerty, Lucas, Hall, Shapiro,Klauber, "I hate Italians" spewing Larry Roth and his Queen of Mean tax raising wife Mayor Michelle Roth have to bash all day every day?

No one.

These people are obsessed with this man because he knows how they operate and he has called them on it. Exposure, they hate that.

Plus the real word is FEAR. They fear him, if not they wouldn't be making such a stink about him.
Their continued obsession with him makes him look like a great guy and they look like the bullies.

If I was this guy, I'd say keep it up. He benefits, he gets free publcity for his business and lots of calls of sympathy from everywhere that the political machine in Manalapan is out of control and crazy. He is portrayed as the victim. Ask the county Democrats what they think of Manalapan, and the response " they are difficult and you can't work with them. Roth is out of control."

Nice job Michelle Roth your reputation is now as infamous as your husband Larry's.

That's a very interesting analogy in the posting that starts "You are right".

Last year the Roth & Lucas team went after Datruthsquad for the very same reason, the blog kept talking about what they were doing behind closed doors and called them on it in public. They actually tried to take away everyone's First Amendment rights to Free Speech because of what is apparently their political agenda.

Since I like many people have come to the concluson the Transcript is merely a tool of these politicians and I don't trust one printed word in their newspaper, especially from their Manalapan reporter Barata, I for one am glad blogging exists because it gives me a chance to go to a forum like this and write what I think. Even better, nobody can just erase any postings because they don't like them.

Hey numbnuts, when you said:

seriously, why are you even answering this clown. Both parties are being run by a group of losers who have raised taxes record amounts, can't balance a budget, are dyed in the wool racists, are totally obsessed .........

What made you assume I was talking about HIM when I said town wrecker?

Anonymous said...

Ok so who is the town wrecker you are referring too?

Anonymous said...

gee, I can't imagine who you could be talking to. Everytime any of you are caught with your hands in the cookie jar, the same guy is the one who generally caught you and you try to cover it up by attacking him. Exactly like you're doing now.

Anonymous said...

Why the stall tactic? Just answer the question, who are you bashing and calling the town wrecker?

You made the statement and the accusation.

We are waiting.

Anonymous said...

he doesn't post until he's drunk. That's when he posts online and sends out illiterate obnoxious emails attacking everyone he is paranoid about, so it'll be an hour or so before he responds to your question.

Anonymous said...

So what you are telling me is that this annoymous blogger needs to take a drink before they have the courage to answer?

Pathetic.

Anonymous said...

it's not that the drink gives them any courage. it's more like he goes nuts when he drinks -- which is quite often -- and makes an a$$ of himself every time.

Anonymous said...

I think the one doing the drinking is the knucklehead who wrote the last 6 posts, claiming to be 6 different people. Even a child could tell it's the same person!

Who is the town wrecker? Would the town wrecker step forward and be heard?

Anonymous said...

hmm. sounds like he's well on his well. Maybe another shot or two of Jack Daniels ought to do it.

Anonymous said...

well on his way -- though he probably is well along his well, too. lol
