Corzine's Worst Fears - Here Comes Christie

Today the legendary Chris Christie has finally decided to toss his crime-fighting hat into da ring and challenge da budget-challenged Jon Corzine for da chance of running a state teetering on financial insolvency.

Christie's new website says, "New Jersey is broken. State government is too big and with huge deficits. We’ve lost 14,000 jobs since 2000 because we’re no longer competitive with our neighboring states. And high property taxes are driving families out of New Jersey. We can change this. With strong leadership we can win the fight for Governor and change this state for the better."

Da good news for GOP'ers is this gives them a candidate with name recognition to rally around with a proven record of going after bad guys and sending them to the Stockade Hilton.

Da bad news for GOP'ers is, during a recession, this guy doesn't have deep pockets and can't finance his own campaign, so he will need both cash & foot soldiers to get da job done.

He does have in his favor da recession, and da fact Corzine won't do what it takes to straighten out New Jersey's dire financial situation. Corzine tried desperately to get a job with any Democrat who could beat Bush. Fortunately for da nation (but bad for New Jersey), Obama was too smart and could see that Corzine didn't have what it takes to serve in his administration.

Look for da national GOP to get heavily involved in this race. Like Barack Obama said, for New Jersey, this could be "Change We Can Believe In."

And that's daTruth.

Both Lonegan & Merkt need to step aside to give Christie the nomination. Face it, only Christie has a chance of beating Corzine.

You are the complete opposite of the expression "right as rain"

At best you are a troublemaker, at worst an obstructionist. Only time will tell which one is the case.

What kind of crap is this? If I need rational thought, I would go to the many other political blog sites that use things like facts. Where is the total insanity we have all come to know and love? Where is the blind rage against the Manalapan Township Committee? Where are the threats, the accusations of bigotry the taunts about people's sexuality? Where is all the Jerry Springer stuff? I don't read your blog for education. I read it to get all my hate out. I need this blog to feed my hate. WE are in a recession for god sakes! Now go and make personal attacks against people with good reputations or I will no longer be one of the many thousands that visit your website anymore. And bring back those ads about the Truth Squad T shirts. I want a dozen of them with the big holes so my giant ego sized head can fit through it. Imagine, trying to sneak in a column that doesn't make any personal attacks. What nerve.

LOL. That about sums up this blog in a nutshell, doesn't it.

As a person who calls Howell home, I for one love this blog because it reminds me just how political other towns can be. There's nothing wrong with writing about things other than Manalapan. Keep it up Squad.

BTW, I would think your politicians would be very happy with Christie running for governor. That way, he won't have time to investigate those corrupt Manalapan politicians!

Larry, you don't have to announce that you're back. We can just figure that out for ourselves every time you post.

It's no wonder Manalapan has the bad reputation it does. When you have people who comment like those who have, and the state and this town in such disarray, now you can see why Manalapan is the way it is.

Not too many years ago, Manalapan was the pride of Monmouth County. It ran under the banner of "Spirit of Excellence". Everyone wanted to move here. Property values skyrocketed. Students from MHS went to whatever school they wanted. The town had a reputation for class. Starting in 2001, a group of low class angry vicious self-dealers took over this town and attacked anyone who stood in the way of their greed, their corruption, their egos and their ugliness. The good people got out of government. People of the same low class as the people in control were attracted to it. Where an occasional good person like Tony Gennaro or Susan Cohen tried to clean things up, they were viciously attacked as if by a pack of hyenas. There has been an evolution into the lowest depths of our population. Our government now reprsents the worst, not the best of the community. And the attitude of the community follows. The result is that the government and everything related to Manalapan, including the several blog sites devoted to it, and the reporter covering it, have followed the people in government into the gutter. The image of Manalapan is now that of Shapiro, Roth, McEnery, the Wards, Lucas and Spodak. It's not pretty. There is no reason to be proud of this community any more and there won't be until the people of this community rise up and take it back. It starts at the top. Clean up the government and they will stop posting the trash you read online.

DTS your time has come and gone.

Hey McEnery, where were you this morning. If there was anyone who didn't know it was you posting as malypractice and clownfoe and here everytime you got drunk (which is just about all the time) they know it now. While you were MIA, your buddy Costigan gave you up and admitted it's been you. Oh well, not that anyone was surprised.

Since DTS seems to have turned over a new leaf (although the post a comment section is still disgusting) and now writes columns without personal attacks One in a row!), allow me to write positive comments about some good people on the Township Committee.

Rick Klauber - Mayor - Showed up one day at a meeting and said he was done sitting around complaining and wanted to get involved. Familiarized himself with virtually everything involving TownHall. Tried the hardest of everyone to reach out to ex committee member Tony G. Tony said to his face that he took his comments as threatening. A great lawyer and a good genuine person with a great family. Loves the law and uses it fo the good of people not twisting it to suit his purposes.

Michelle Roth Ex Mayor - The most honest person you will ever meet. If she says something is going to get done, it will get done. Has helped turn this town around by getting rid of the dead wood that thinks they are entitiled to a town salary without putting in any work. Shows more guts than any person i know. The people on this site that have accused her of being corrupt should try and suggest to her face that she do something illegal and see what reaction you get from her.

Don Holland Deputy mayor - Long record of public service. long record of total dedication to his country by serving in the Marines. A great man.

Andrew Lucas - Ex Mayor. At great political expense he began siding with Democrats as a lunatic branch of the REpublican Party started spinning out of control. In the end, Andrew has done whathe believes is good for the town.

Susan Cohen - When not under Stu's finger and the lunatic fringe, someone who is capable of giving back to the community. Unfortunately, she is way too involved with him.

Thanks for the opporunity to share my comments.

LOL. That is the funniest comment ever posted. It's hard to tell if you were actually trying to be serious and just clueless or if you were being facetious. Let's do this one by one.

Rick Klauber: "Tried the hardest of everyone to reach out to ex committee member Tony G. Tony said to his face that he took his comments as threatening. A great lawyer and a good genuine person with a great family. Loves the law and uses it fo the good of people not twisting it to suit his purposes." He never tried to reach out to Tony G. Who told you that, your buddy Andy? He threatened Tony. That's not reaching out. A great lawyer? Are you serious? He didn't even know that the township had to pay the deductible on the insurance policy. He agreed to sue Stu even though the Township can never win the lawsuit because of 1. the 2004 court order, 2. the hazardous substance statute that fully protected the Township 3. Absolutely no evidence that there was anything that Stu could do once the fait accomplie was handed to him and 4. The township only paid 10,000 to do the cleanup which means only about 2,000 to 2,000 in engineering costs are legitimate and anything Stu did other than what he did would have cost the township the loss of the 250,000 grant plus expenses for the litigation that would have restarted that was settled by the 2004 court order. A great lawyer? Even a half decent lawyer would have known that. "Uses the law for the good of the people." LOL. Yeh, like the frivolous lawsuit against Stu, the threatened lawsuit against Kinneally, and let's not even get into what he does for a living that's hardly "for the people."

Michelle Roth: Honest? Are you serious? She was in John Lynch's pocket and cost the township millions of dollars in lost tax revenue fighting the village center to protect felon John Lynch's project. Honest? She spent 1.5 million of taxpayers money to buy a 750,000 property to fill the pockets of Mike Hammer who's going to build a sports center there subsidized by the taxpayers. That's Honest? And that's before we begin to get into what she did on the planning board with certain developers that can't be disclosed at this point because of sensitive investigations. The people she got rid of were hard working, honest people, award winning employees who disagreed with her. Her disgusting vindictiveness caused them to be fired, not for the benefit of the taxpayers.

Don Holland: He's only been there a week. There's no way to tell yet how he'll be. Hopefully, he'll have the courage and integrity to follow in Tony G.'s footsteps and not be just another cog in the corrupt wheel of Manalapan politics. We'll wait and see.

Andy Lucas: this one is the biggest joke of your whole posting. This clown was caught twice trying to forge a letter to the editor. He was for the village center before he was against it -- in both cases because his political interests dictated his position. He has always been a puppet -- he just bounces from master to master. He has no integrity. He claimed to be living with his mother and just visiting his wife when he was caught running for office in Manalapan while living in Freehold. He is incapable of looking anyone in the face when they speak at meetings. He is a boy without courage, without integrity, without class, without morality, without substance. But, McEnery, he's your boy -- or at least he has you convinced of that -- so you support him. You really have no choice, you have no other allies in "your" party.

Susan Cohen: make up your mind Steve. Every day you change your mind. First she's your candidate. Then she's "Stu's puppet" Then you're supporting her for office. Then she's no good. Then she's terrific. Then she's a rogue. Then she's a good republican. Then she's a malcontent. Sober up Steve. Maybe then you can form a coherent opinion and stick to it so you don't continually make a fool of yourself. Susan is one of those rare people in our government who are concerned first and foremost with the people. And you can't handle that. That's why you hate Stu. He doesn't play the game. She doesn't play the game. You can't deal with anyone who won't play the game. You and your fellow monkeys immedioately label anyone against corruption who won't play the game "stu's puppet." Frankly, calling someone Stu's puppet is about the same as finding yourself on John Dean's enemies list. It's not a slur, it's an honor. But hey, thanks for sharing your opinion.

"Michelle Roth Ex Mayor - The most honest person you will ever meet."

Now I know we're closer than ever to the apocolypse. Remember, she was the same person when hubby Larry said Becaise I Hate Italians that she said he didn't say it before admitting it was McEnery's fault for him saying it, then saying it was political before saying it was only a joke.

That's honesty.

Not to mention the fact that she and husband/poster Larry earn their money off the backs of oppressed black Africans by writing spin about how lovely the 15 to a room hostels are for these workers.

Anonymous said...

Well you completely proved my point. I wrote exactly why I thought four of the five township people were good, honesty and hardworking human beings. What did you do? Did you explain why you thought your people were good for this town? Did you talk about their character? No. You attacked each one, one by one. You attacked Klauber by assuming Stu was going to win his lawsuit. You attacked Roth be trying to tie her to someone she never met and never spoke to. You are not worth the effort. You are nothing but a bunch of punks who have been out of power for almost nine years now. With all the time you spent hating people on this blog you could have cured cancer. This is my last comment. Ever.

"This is my last comment. Ever." Not a chance. Not by a long shot. You will never stop posting. It is your life. You live to post. You've been attacking people for two years by posting. There is no way you're going to stop now or ever. "Assuming Stu's going to win" Yeh, I would think so. Try to find one qualified lawyer who's looked at the facts of the case and thinks there's ANY chance he won't. That's the point. Klauber is not a good lawyer or he would have known.

Changing Times Too

Michelle Roth is not the pillar of virtue that some have reported. Michelle Roth has the crafted ability to tell you her version of the truth which is only what she wants you to know. Full disclosure of the entire subject matter is withheld if it does not suit the Queen herself or her minions. Make no mistake, she is excellent at this and therefore comes across as honest and forth right. She is not. Michelle Roth has the art of spin down pact. This is what she does for a living. She represents African mines, and writes puff fluff for their investors, while all along omitting any information regarding their employees working conditions and or wages.
It goes to her character and or the lack there of. It appears that she is quite comfortable with this tacticial behavior. What we have is an ex-mayor who earns the bulk of her income from foreign countries, writting spin for companies whose working and living conditions would have OSHA at their door. Michelle Roth is no champion of the people of Manalapan. She is a crafty spin doctor/saleswoman. No one outside her close minions, is ever going to give her an award for honesty or humanity.

Anonymous said...

There you go again. Statements without proof. I dare you to show us any proof that Michelle Roth is what you claim. You can't. She's a pillar of virtue that has lowered taxes and made Manalapan a better place. She should run for governor!

Anonymous said...

a pillar of virtue? Sorry, I'm a little slow. I actually thought you were serious in saying this abuser of tax dollars, racist exploiter of poor African workers, anything-for-a-buck pr whore, frivolous lawsuit bringer, attacker of decent people who disagree with her ugliness was a "pillar of virtue." This woman makes Beth Ward look like Mother Theresa.s

What's wrong with being vicious. I'm vicious. What's wrong with attacking decent people you disagree with? I do it all the time. What's wrong with being unprofessional? I'm unprofessional. What's wrong with abusing tax payers' dollars? I support the public officials who do that all the time, and attack the people who criticize it. What's wrong with being ugly? I'm ugly. I call people liars all the time even when I know I'm the one lying. I think you are all being overly critical of Michelle. KB

I hope that thelast post is not from KB. It is not very professional of her it is.

Read the howell blog and the post on the manalapan forum titled "the real KB". Who ever wrote the post and signed it KB two posts up ought to be ashamed. Of course you can only be ashamed if you have even the slightest hint of morality, which obvioulsy that poster is lacking. Hey what goes aroud comes around. You reap what you sow. It will happen, in time, in time.

Anonymous said...

you've been threatening that things are going to happen "in time" for two years now. Just like you threatened -- and Kathy wrote about it -- your silly little lawsuit in July that fell flat on its face. This is a township where Shapiro, Roth and several of their comrades have not yet been indicted on charges stemming from illegal actions that in some cases are fifteen years ago. So "in time" in Manalapan doesn't mean much.

Anonymous said...

gee, the only thing missing from "sick of you"'s post (aka KB) is "I'll get you my little pretty, and your dog, too." Is there anyone in Manalapan with a mind as diseased as that of KB? Is she trying to establish a defense of insanity to any crime she's about to commit?

Anonymous said...

what's amazing to me is this woman is so vicious, so ugly, so deranged that even when she's disabled with a serious medical condition, she can't help but keep on posting attacking those her paranoid mind thinks are her enemies. Wouldn't a normal person just give it a rest and give her health top priority? Yes. So what does that tell you about the journalistically and decency challenged KB?

Anonymous said...

What is here health issue? Could it be to repair the broken conscience?

Anonymous said...

you can't break something that was never there.

Anonymous said...

I never met this Kathy Baratta, but I just wonder, how good a reporter could she possibly be if she couldn't figure out that the posting with the initials KB wasn't supposed to look like it was really written by her. Is she really that clueless? What newspaper would hire a reporter that's such an incredible pinhead?
